Make sure you stop at Coffee Smith next time you are heading up north. Just a few miles off 35W, this shop is worth the quick detour. My cortado was smooth and balanced, and the kids enjoyed hot chocolates and pastries on their front porch (which had some nice green space for them to run around, and also overlooks the lake). The inside of the shop has a warm, modern decor and everyone working there was knowledgeable and friendly. Will definitely be back again!

I love the building, and staff members were friendly enough. I was not impressed with the cold brew, which tasted like ice coffee (too bitter). Not sure I'd venture outside of a hot cup of coffee, if I was meeting at this location again. Maybe you'll have better luck.
Very good! We came here because we wanted someplace different to get coffee one day, and it was amazing! I had the blueberry lemonade (I think that’s what it was called), and it tasted so fresh and so fruity (in a good way!). Definitely going to be coming back.
Delicious lavender latte with house-made syrup. Probably the best one I've tasted! The house and its huge front porch also make this a beautiful spot for dining in. One note, PLEASE offer straws upon request, even if they are compostable/paper. Or perhaps even offer reusable ones for purchase if that concerned about single use. Those plastic sippy cup lids are very unpleasant when drinking on the go, and the ice comes through the opening in chunks. It's a small thing, but it takes away from enjoying your wonderful coffee.
Beautiful coffee bar! It was a level above your typical coffee shop in appearance, selection and location. Will definitely go back!
Excellent cold brew in a very unique space. But they completely ran out of food (except for oatmeal), so we didn’t have anything to eat while sipping our coffee. And we came a long way to try this place.
While this place was very busy when we went, and while I liked that this coffee shop was located on the ground floor of a house, I wasn’t really a fan of the coffee itself. I don’t know what it was exactly (maybe it was too bitter or burnt?), but either way, I didn’t really like the taste of it. I was quite clear in ordering a large hot latte, but ended up getting an almond-flavored latte instead. I’m not sure why that mistake was made or where the miscommunication was. Because the staff was quite busy, I didn’t want to bother anyone and request a new beverage. The Frenchie that walks around is super cute and well-behaved!

If I lived in forest lake this is the place I would frequent for my coffee. They know their craft and have great service. They actually know how to do a cortado well and also have great cold brew.
After several visits, the drinks and staff have been uniformly awesome. Coffee/tea tastes great, the staff are polite and fast. All in all, a really nice place to check out.
I love adding lavender to anything I drink, great selection, great atmosphere. Worth the 40 min drive from my home!
This coffee shop is absolutely beautiful! Love the historic architecture and detail! Louie was also the sweetest coffee shop pup! The food and coffee were delicious, would highly recommend!
Went here for a coffee date. We will definitely be going back again to try their other flights of coffee. They have a lot of different options for coffees, this includes multiple options for coffee flights and some non-coffee coffee flights. I got the barista signature, which included a 5oz Bourbon Caramel latte, a 5oz Almond Vanilla Latte, and a 5oz Miel (honey and cinnamon flavored). They have a couple of different options for pastries, I got the ham and cheese croissant. The overall atmosphere was pleasant and very welcoming. They even have a coffee shop dog that is very friendly.
Best spot in town to have some great coffee!! Louie the mini dog there is a heart stealer!! He has the best Love!! His kisses are so warm and sweet!! Staff is great Calvin his sister and brother are all great!! Their grandma is the sweetest little lady!! I got the pleasure of playing my beautiful hand pan there!! I love this place!! I had to even buy a shirt so I could represent the best coffee shop in town!! Hands down a must to have coffee and food!! Thank you guys for all your hard work!!
