Love Caribou! Their Coffee Drinks and Smoothies are so good!
Update 5/11/23: I wish I could give another 1 star review but I'll just add to the one I already made in 2022. I still like Caribou's coffee, but their food is still incredibly disappointing, with a new added twist of terrible attention to service. Twice recently I've decided to order a bagel with my coffee: an asiago bagel, toasted, with plain cream cheese. In the past, this order would come as a toasted bagel with plain cream cheese spread on it (as one would expect.) Two weeks ago, I was given a paper bag with a naked bagel and a knife, but NO CREAM CHEESE. I didn't notice til I was already gone and at work. This morning I checked my paper bag before I left the drive-thru, and I could see I was given a naked bagel, a knife, and a cup of cream cheese, thought I was good to go. But when I got to work and opened the cream cheese, it's onion/chive cream cheese, not plain like I ordered. I'm absolutely not eating that. So my bagel today is going in the garbage and I will be taking a long break from Caribou. What a waste of money. Original 1 star review from Spring 2022: The recent change in their sandwiches is really bad. The breakfast sandwiches used to be fresh and customizable. I used to get a bacon and cheddar on whatever flavor bagel I wanted. Now the bacon and cheddar only comes on a plain bagel and looks like the entire sandwich was taken from the freezer and microwaved. Rubbery bagel, burned cheese, and weirdly different bacon than before. The sandwiches are so bad I haven’t been able to finish the last two that I got. I used to love breakfast at Caribou, now I won’t eat it. The staff told me the change was for “efficiency” and “standardization” across stores - well, it’s gross, and I won’t be eating at your store anymore.
This location is ALWAYS slow, also when I order a blended turtle I like it with no whip but still have the toppings. EVERYTIME I prefer it here they NEVER put the toppings on. I asked an employee yesterday why that always happens and she responded, "We just assume that is you don't want whip you don't want any toppings" PLEASE do YOUR JOB and READ the order, DON'T JUST ASSUME! Also when I went to this location last month I ordered inside and the guy forgot to ask for my perks number and unfortunately I remembered after I ordered and he was like Oh well ... You can do this and this, he had the attitude NOT MY PROBLEM!!
Drive-thru was fast. Server very friendly.
I really love their coffee less coolers, but the service is not quick, and the last several times I, or friends have gone there, our orders are made incorrectly.
I've been a long time fan of this particular store, it's always been 5 stars in my eyes. But lately I've been getting stiffed on sizes and brushed off when I bring it up. If I pay for a medium, I expect a medium. I doubt I'll be back for a while.
Love this location and all the staff I have always been treated so kindly, everytime I come in I am greeted with smiles and I’ve literally never had a problem with my order, caribou is my favorite coffeee shop in town that’s forsure :)
Absolutely terrible service. Took 5 minutes before I was acknowledged and ordered a pump coffee. 10 minutes go by without any other acknowledgement. Terrible response by staff when I asked about the coffee order and while I did get a refund and the coffee (with a half apology) I will not be returning to this store. I love Caribou but worst experience at a coffee shop ever.
This place is a rip off. 2 kids drinks and 2 iced coffees were $28, they nickel and dime you for a squirt of vanilla syrup, waste of money, also took 20 min to get through a short drive through line
This place is terrible it’s so dirty and they play on phones instead of cleaning the dirty place. We ordered drinks she misunderstood and charged us for something we didn’t order and refused to give our money back
Friendly and fast. Tasted great as always. Caribou has the best coffee hand down.
Absolutely awful. I’ve always had very slow service here, but this last time was the final straw for me. We got in the drive through line at about 3:35PM. There was no one single other car in line. Ordered our drinks, an Apple Blast and a Hot Chocolate. That’s all. So I pulled ahead to the window. I was never greeted at the window. Never was told it would be a wait. My money was never taken. I sat in my car and waited and waited and waited with the window down in the cold. Fifteen minutes later, with my special needs child needing to be taken care of, I drove off without my drinks. I feel bad they *might* have made them and wasted them, but this is NOT acceptable customer service. I personally work in the fast food industry too. We get busy. We don’t have a lot of staff. I get it. But LET CUSTOMERS KKOW. Being left in the literal cold for that long when all I wanted was to pay and get my drinks was absurd.
Service was good. Coffee was as expected.
I honestly don’t know why I keep trying with this location, but today was the last straw. I spent a total of 45 minutes here today for 2 drinks and a cake pop. 25 of those were spent waiting in the drive thru with only 2 cars ahead of me. When I finally got to the window I was not acknowledged for several minutes and there no apology for the wait time. One of my drinks was also wrong. I immediately went in store to which I was not acknowledged again for several minutes. The barista who did finally walk up to desk had a terrible attitude and made it seem like it was my fault for my drink being wrong and was very reluctant to make me the correct one. When I did finally get the correct drink it was 3/4 of the way full. When I asked about it I could not get a straight answer. As a former barista myself it’s not that hard to fill a cup up all the way.
Very poor customer service at this location. Workers don't listen to your order, make the wrong order, then act upset when you ask them to make what you ordered in the first place. I'll be going to Scooters I guess.
Worst place ever got a half of cup of cold coffee waited 30 minutes to get it. Called manger says sorry for your inconvenience. Really what a joke . Will not go there again
Waited 35 minutes for our order ahead order. Was told at that time that they were out of almond milk for our drink. There was seemingly no first come first serve process. Seem like very nice staff - honestly they were slammed. But they were not set up for success. Only way to refund is to call an 800 number.
Completely understaffed, the staff that were there were working hard though!
Long line. Barista taking our order was very unfriendly. Never gave me a receipt or number. Waited over 15 min for 2 lattes and a black coffee. Went up to afl about it and barista asked me what my number was. I was never given one. Finally got our drinks. If you’re going to be short staffed ( only 3 workers) then put a sign up. Never going back.
Gave my dog a dixie cup of whipped cream
