Friendly people and friendly service. Great music and environment.
I’ve been a fairly serious home barista for about 10 years and this guy knows his stuff. I’ve only had one cup from there so far, but it was immediately apparent to me that the beans used for it were expertly roasted, high quality, and in their prime. I’ve only had coffee I’ve enjoyed this much from serious roasters in major cities, I didn’t expect to find a place like this in my small town. It’s the kind of coffee that made me stop between every drink and really think about the flavor and how much I enjoyed it. So good it inspired me to write my very first google review out of how much I respect what the guy is doing. I don’t see myself buying beans for home use anywhere else, or stopping anywhere else when I need a quick coffee.
The best coffee!
Homespun & sincere approach to roasting great coffee. Real espresso drinks with the right proportions. When you see a macchiato on the menu that is actually a 'mark' of foam. ...and a cortado that doesn't have multiple sizes - you have to stop and check it out. This place is worth a diversion from I-90 even if you are just passing thru. We did and it ended up being the best coffee on our entire 2 week roadtrip.
The Best Coffee In Town.
A bright spot for it's town's future. Glad to see specialty, locally roasted coffee in a city that's very dear to my wife and I. And the quality is exceptional. The Costa Rica single origin is worth every bit of the cost, and we both really enjoyed the Tanzania, as well. The best way to understand their offerings is to remember that they are a roaster first. You're going to get a high quality cup no matter what you order, but if you really want their best, you're going to want brewed coffee. It's simple, and it's going to help you really know what you're drinking. Then grab a bag of that coffee for home! Plus, you can trust James to help educate and place a coffee that's right for you. He's knowledgeable and doesn't come off in a way that makes you want to get your coffee and run. If I was going to trust anyone in town with coffee questions, it's him.
Excellent Coffee, great flavor and very smooth. They have a great selection of roasted coffees and a great menu of prepared drinks as well. The Bread Box has baked items that looked amazing, but I will have to make another trip to try that.
These people are serious about coffee. They're not messing around with powders and syrups and whatever fluff you can add at the big chains. The cup I had was rich and deep and nutty. I'm a coffee novice and I had not yet had a cup that so thoroughly rocked my world like this one did. Wow!
Exceptional coffee.
Great coffee! Always happy with my order 😀
We were traveling from SD to Wisconsin & stopped for the first time at this cute little coffee shop in Fairmont. My husband loved his Americano & I loved my coconut latte! Will definitely go back. It smells so good upon entering. They have remodeled what was once a very small gas station. They also have sourdough cookies & treats!!
Think all coffees are the same? Try one that was roasted the same day it is ground and brewed for you. Best Americano I have ever tasted.
I have been so happy with my Loxley Coffee beans! I recently bought an espresso machine and their beans produce the best tasting espresso. I can’t have enough! The Bender Blend has to be one of my favorites but I haven’t been disappointed when trying other kinds. I always have them ship to me and I’ve been impressed with how fast it arrives. Their packaging is also top notch! Highly recommend trying their coffee. You won’t be disappointed.
Great cup of premium coffee! You can tell it's made with care and passion. Bullseye blend is my favorite.
The coffee and service were phenomenal!
Coffee here is delicious!! My boyfriend and I passed through this town while on a road trip and ended up staying for 30 minutes chatting with one of the owners named Will. Will was charming and friendly and really made the experience special for us, on top of having a great product! We bought two bags of coffee here- can’t wait to try them!
Really kind, helpful, down to earth guys and great drip!
Just drove 1400 miles from Oregon and on my way through stopped to try, what you would think was just another coffee shop, but who would have thought that this small roaster actually has the richest tasting dark roast I've ever had. In the middle of f**king nowhere. And I'm from Oregon, West coast coffee snobs. 10 outa 10 would stop by again on my way home.
The staff here is awesome and the beans are always fresh!!!
I've been getting my coffee exclusively from Loxley for a few months now, and I like the fact that the store is within walking distance of my home. My favorites so far would have to be the Papua New Guinea and Bender Blend, but I would also recommend the Hero Roast. In addition to being an excellent dark roast, a portion of all proceeds from that roast go toward charity.
