I get drinks here often, however today the service was horrible 2-26-23 3:22, the gentleman behind the counter was rude. When I told him he could be nice, he replied that’s what happens when you work alone. We had no issue with wanting for a drink, but his tone was was all bad, I’ll be back, but I’ll Make sure I’ll keep walking if he’s there
The guy that works here is beyond rude. I asked a question about one of their products and gave me a huge attitude. Never coming back here. Respect the customers!!!

Whelp it's April! Which brings rain showers for Mayflowers. My grandies are great company and love to do my favorite thing: People Watch! After an hour of play time in the play area at Westland Mall, we stroll down here to have a snack and cool down. Besides coffee, The Daily Grind has a nice selection of snacks. Service is great as well! Takes a lot of patience to deal with the grandies (both very independent) paying separately 😆 Sidenote: This would be a great place to meet, if you need something notarized! Every coffee/mocha I have gotten here is so delicious! I live out of town but whoever I am in town, I make sure to come get a coffee as much as possible.
The coffee is great here, and usually the staff is polite. However on this specific occasion I waited 4 minutes before they opened and the lady was being rude. I told her it was fine take her time, and she responded well the rest of the mall is open. I really didn't see the harm in waiting....

My husband and stopped by there and ordered 2 frappes They were supposed to have candy sprinkles on them, mine was Mounds and my husbands was Reese’s The lady made our drinks took our money. When we got our drinks they didn’t have any candy pieces because they were out of them. Should have refused them
It's the ressurected version of Coffee Beanery and great if you're craving something similar. The iced fudge supreme is great, nice selection of tea and some tasty treats. Make an excuse to go to the mall and give them a try.
I looked up coffee shops in westland, and chose this place without knowing it was in the mall, as I was meeting someone. Friendly service. Wished there was more decaf options that were sugar free - attendent recommend unsweetened iced ice which was good. They didn't have fresh lemon, which is why I don't give 5 stars. Friendly service. If needing to meet in area would def go again vs a chain.

I always enjoy a cup of coffee at the Daily Grind Cafe when shopping at Westland Mall. The coffee is delicious and the staff is friendly.
