Coffee done right! Selection of pastries, coffees, and gift items. Clean bright and cheery. Great sports to stop for your caffeine fix. Great staff and ownership. Great pride in their establishment and it shows. Well done and KUDOS to "Espresso Bay"!!!
Coffee was fabulous...chairs by fireplace need a good cleaning or reupholstered. Bathrooms need updating. Service was wonderful!!
Wife loved it so much she had it twice! 🤣 the staff was young and super friendly. My black coffee was good! Wife love her (whatever she put in her coffee) thank you for the pleasant experience!

They make a delicious Snickers and Reese's latte. Yummy. They sell variety of items like coffee, tea, smoothies, pastries and so on. So much to choose from. Beautiful inside. Nice cozy fireplace to sit near when lit in winter.. peaceful place. Located downtown beautiful Traverse City Michigan so nice view. Kind staff Check them out and after that walk around downtown and check out the other shops and walk along the beautiful Grand Traverse Bay.
I stopped in for a coffee after breakfast elsewhere and the cappuccino I had was good. The store was cozy with a good view of the streets, and there was plenty of their coffee beans for sale too. Admittedly, it wasn’t my favorite cafe in the area, but they do make a good cappuccino. They do their job well.
I wish I had found these guys a lot sooner. I've been faithfully ordering my coffee online for about a year now and don't regret making the switch. Maxwell House was my go to until I stumbled upon Table 12 on Garfield and found espresso bays whole bean coffee. Since then I've been to EB on front st ounce but I'll be stopping by when I'm in town for now on.
- Coffee was not the greatest, it honestly tastes like it's very watered down. - staff were friendly. - service was quick. - places was clean and organized. - prices are normal for the area. - overall not the best coffee shop in the area.
We stopped in to look at bulk ordering coffee beans for wedding favors and the staff was so kind! We had an impromptu tasting of pour over flavors and plan on ordering two big bags of beans for our wedding. Thanks guys!!

You either get pure watery drinks or thick. No in between. Place would be great if they could be consistent with their recipes. Not to mention if you don’t tip you always get poor service.
Espresso Bay is a fantastic coffee shop that truly stands out in the Traverse City area. Their attention to detail in crafting high-quality beverages is evident in every sip, and their friendly and knowledgeable staff only adds to the welcoming atmosphere of the shop. I wish we had one in the local Detroit Area. The Peppermint Crunch Chip Cold Brew Coffee I ordered after breakfast at The Towne Plaza was the perfect morning pick-me-up. The refreshing mint flavor combined with the rich coffee and crunchy peppermint chips is a unique and delightful combination that I enjoyed thoroughly. Beyond their exceptional beverages, Espresso Bay also has a cozy and inviting atmosphere that makes it a great spot to relax and unwind--especially but the massive stone fireplace. The comfortable seating, warm lighting, and charming decor create an ambiance that is perfect for catching up with friends or getting some work done. Overall, I highly recommend Espresso Bay to anyone in the Traverse City area looking for a top-notch coffee experience and a unique array of coffee and non-coffee drinks. From their delicious drinks to their inviting atmosphere and friendly staff, Espresso Bay truly has it all.
BEST LATTE EVER. I'd consider myself a latte connoisseur, and this place was amazing! Saw their sign said "CBD AVAILABLE," and I thought "no way are they serving CBD LATTES???!!!" Sure enough they do!!!!! I got the cherry blossom latte with 5mg of CBD, and it's the best latte I've ever had. I wish this place was local! You can of course get any drink without CBD!
Seriously one of the best coffee shops I have been to! I love the environment and the workers are super friendly. I will definitely be coming back the next time I’m in town!
Food and service were both great restroom was clean the room for dinner was tastefully decorated we enjoyed ourselves
Just tried to get a coffee an hour before close, 4:45PM on a Tuesday. Couldn’t get in the door initially because it was blocked by a trash can. One customer drinking and working quietly in the back. The staff member behind the counter seemed busy so myself, my friend and her 16 month old waited patiently as she finished changing out trash bags and then disappeared for a few minutes. After another 7-8 minutes we were not acknowledged or served (I was hoping to buy some beans as a gift for another friend as well). The staff member did eventually reappear but still did not acknowledge us at the counter- we even heard her mumbling about us moving the trash can under her breath. I’ve never known Espresso Bay to have a good reputation in regards to their product or their service, being blatantly ignored seems true to form. I will be sure to spread the word.
Great place to start your day out in TC! I had a Reese’s specialty latte that was made with real peanut butter in it! I’ve been to a lot of coffee places and never seen that before. It was delicious! Great atmosphere inside too.
