A great vibe to grab some unique, eclectic breakfast, tea/coffee. Wonderful staff. Quick food wait time. I'd highly recommend!!

Vegan options, yusssss! As of 5/2023 they have a vegan breakfast burrito (amazing) and vegan cream cheese for their bagels (haven’t tried yet). Their non-dairy milk is oat milk. Please give them a try! Thanks for having vegan options!

Best brekky we’ve found in TC. Fresh, simple and delicious. We ordered the yogurt parfait, bagel with shmear, and the cucumber bagel sammy with a cold brew - two happy kids and one delighted momma +all the cool kid vibes! 5 stars and we can’t wait to visit again⭐️ ps all the glassware is so thoughtful/ photo worthy.
Don’t sleep on this spot! All of the menu items that I tried were impressive. Happy to support this place !!!
Awesome coffee shop. We were staying at Hotel Indigo and it is right next door. The vanilla latte was amazing! And the breakfast sandwiches were really good.
Menu changed and I’m not a fan. Where are the sodas?!
First time at Rough Pony though I've been meaning to head into town to check it out ever since it opened. Absolute delight, the place is cozy as hell and comforting and warm and painted the exact shade of soft purple you had in your bedroom when you were an early 2000's tween and in love with Heath Ledger after watching 10 Things I Hate About You. I had the most memorably kind and friendly barista interaction I think I've ever had, and I love that for a new place, the shop doesn't feel sterile at all but well lived in and cared for. Came in to console myself after a dentist appointment and another gross gray Michigan morning and it did the trick, ordered the breakfast sandwich and it was perfect. Lovely stop and a respite if you ever visit Northern Michigan <3

110% my favorite coffee shop in TC. The vibe is *chefs kiss* and the staff is so delightfully kind and fun. I also appreciate their commitment and care to use locally sourced goods. Last time I was there I had a perfect shot of espresso (iykyk) and the magic hour juice which I now dream about on the daily. My toddler niece had a hot chocolate and we shared some monkey bread and she sends rave reviews that were spoken in toddler - so you just gotta trust me on this one. Big love to y'all! Keep being the bright and colorful beams of light you are!
A wonderful spot to enjoy great coffee and interact with amazing people. I highly recommend having a smoothie as well- my favorite is the Giddy Up. To top it off they have Bubbie's Bagels! This is also my new favorite place to work since I work remotely, the atmosphere is perfect.

Great smoothies and juices, excellent vibes, stellar service. Seating indoors or on a cozy patio. This is a fantastic location to relax and catch up with friends or a stop to enjoy yourself. The indoor area had a progressive touch which I loved as well. The Tutti Frutti smoothie was excellent - just enough cherry to say “TC represent” (or some such) without being overbearing. Will certainly visit again!
