First time here and I was ready for a mediocre setting but I was very impressed with the people, atmosphere and food. I had Belgium waffles and they were not dry but very fluffy. And parfait was fresh and chai latte excellent. I recommend this place to anybody looking to try someplace new.

Cute place. They gave me wayyy too much water for 1 tea bag when I ordered tea. Otherwise good service.

This place is so cute and aesthetically pleasing! I feel like I always get so much more work done in coffee shops and as a person who has piles of paperwork to complete, I’m always in search of cute nooks and crannies where I can park myself to hammer out the hard stuff. The staff was more than happy to serve me and let me hang around in the shop while I worked and sipped on my drink. Hard to find a nice calm little cafe that isn’t blasting music loudly but this place was the perfect environment. I’ll be back! To enjoy the drinks, baked goods, and to buy one of the cute fall shirts :)

Love this coffee shop. I used to work here many years, and that is how I got my dad to try this coffee shop and he lived this place. I still love frequenting this coffee shop. The people who work and own the shop are amazing.

We were looking for a new coffee shop/cafe after the one we normally go to while on vacation in Dowagiac, MI. was closed due to staff testing positive for Covid. So glad I found this cute cafe! My family of four stopped on our way back home and got lunch and coffees. The people working there were super sweet and helpful, coffee was tasty, food was yummy (my boys got biscuits and gravy, which they love and which wasn't spicy, thankfully, my husband got a Reuben and I got a veggie melt, which I had them put on a pretzel bun - so good). We also got a Butterfinger frozen coffee and an iced turtle mocha, and a lemon bar. Everything was good. The building itself is built literally above a river (very cool), and it has very nice outdoor seating with Edison lights strung overhead. There are little nooks and crannies inside as well. I try to check out the local coffee shops/bakeries in any town I visit, and this one had everything I look for: cute aesthetic and outdoor area, historic building, good coffee and food, and nice staff.
