Good luck getting a seat. Seemed like plenty of seats were available but they must not have had staff. Waited for 30 minutes and left.

You could never go wrong with a 100 percent scratch bakery and breakfast that is to die for...not to mention amazing wood fire pizzas! There are no microwaves or Gordon food service is in their restaurants. Highly impressed and highly recommend

My daughter and I just happened upon this place. What a terrific restaurant! Everything we had was homemade and delicious! Super good service from a very attractive waitress!

It will be an absolute shock to me if this place survives more then one calender year from now! Qualification for why this place is terrible in comparison: I've eaten at literally every restaurant in Petoskey/harbor & surroundings. From holes in the wall with microwave hotdogs, to osso bucco ( my favorite dish) The setting gives off a non welcoming, underwhelming bland decor feel. Unlike any other restaurant in Petoskey. The menu gives off an elitist, wing tip shoe, downtown Manhattan vibe. And the food simply falls short on EVERY note possible, from portion, to seasoning, to presentation. You will absolutely feel you overpaid for a no love in the kitchen dish. Most people that review restaurants on Google are used to the occasional splurge and are happy with a dish that's unburnt and has a fancy name, and a menu without decimals... But if you actually eat at multiple restaurants monthly and appreciate "good" food keep reading. It's laughable in such a bland environment 2 people spend well over $40 on a tasteless lunch that just leaves you wanting to stop other people from walking in the door and getting took as you just did. I have actually overheard out of Towner's ( probably the only customers left) talking about going here and spoke up to save Petoskey's dining reputation. I'd feel terrible letting someone go here unknowingly, simply because I'd feel they'd lose faith in testing other places downtown. It is simply that bad. Simply put. EAT ANYWHERE ELSE!

Great place to eat. Whitefish Benedict is the best. Very attentive staff. All homemade food. Drinks are awesome as well. Will be back for sure.

This is definitely my new favorite breakfast spot in Petoskey. The food is amazing. All the staff were super friendly. I loved the cozy at home feeling while dining inside Sams. If you don't order the eggs Benedict while you're here, you're doing it wrong. We also ordered yiayia's breakfast. With a manmosa to drink.

After being on the wait list for a short time, the hostess didn’t realize we were standing right in earshot on 10/15/22 around lunchtime. Hostess called us and said to her co-worker “I hope they don’t answer.” Then when we were right there next to her, she rolled her eyes and scoffed at us. We decided to leave and not eat there. Had an amazing lunch at Sidedoor Salon instead!!

If this restaurant was around during the 1600's it likely would have soon gone out of business because the owners would be burned at the stake for practicing witchcraft. I have no other explanation for how they are able to make food this good. Everything tastes so incredible it makes me question every other meal I have to eat that isn't there. The quality is unmatched. They could charge double but please don't.

Nice place, pretty small, some decent options, the menu is a little fancy, prices are kind of high, not really a good place for kids to eat, unless they get pancakes, we got a pepperoni pizza and sausage & peppers pizza, both were good, very thin and crispy, very light sauce
