this place is so pretty and welcoming. there's nice seating both indoors and out. it's my first time here; the iced latte with oat milk + cascara is chef's kiss. The total was a little over $7 including tip. (there's also a mural across the road that says East of Eden, which is kinda funny considering that's the name of the book I too with me to read here)
Coffee is very good!! Lots of options of spaces to enjoy it too (tables, bars, couch, outside seating) depending on your needs. Handful of very good baked items also - some offerings for dietary restrictions too.
We absolutely loved this place. We came across from Milwaukee without knowing that Muskegon would be mostly closed on a Sunday. We hung out at Aldea most of an afternoon waiting for the ferry back. The staff were friendly and the coffee shop was happening. When it came time for our ferry back, there were no taxis or Uber cars. We were a little panicked. Patrick, a barista there kindly offered to drive us to the ferry landing when his shift was over. What a knight in shining armor! Aldea is awesome and an absolute highlight of any trip to Muskegon. This is the right kind of business with great ethics.
Best coffee and crew! GF apple muffins aren't too bad either 🥰😋 yum❣️
Been going here between classes for about a year and a half now and I love this place! Everyone is always so sweet and the coffee is super tasty. Always a good place to stress study!
I had a first date with my now fiance at this place. We talked for over 3 hours and it was perfect. The food is pretty good, mostly breakfast type or muffin type. I had the blue berry muffin.
Friendly people and excellent fresh coffee. Decent spot to get some work done as well, plenty of outlets and tables. Not too noisy but a fair bit of echo, which shouldn’t be a problem if you have decent headphones.
I can't wait to go back. It was bright and cozy at the same time. The Cafe Miel was tasty.
Loved the atmosphere and the staff were very friendly. Would definitely go back!
Brit and Jill are the best baristas on the planet. Love the vibe behind all they do and stand for. ✌🏻
Good coffee and comfortable atmosphere.
Great atmosphere, coffee, and service!
Aldea is a unique, warm and welcoming coffee shop with family friendly seating, games and books. Ethically sourced Coffee, tea, and baked goods are among the tastiest in the area. This is a popular local hang out for everyone - retirees, students, remote employees (free wifi and sensible plug locations), and families with kids. Hard to go wrong! Note- One draw back for folks trying to work here is the open floor plan and cavarnous ceilings. Bring your headphones as noise travels!
Best coffee shop in Muskegon. Great for working/studying/talking with a friend. Staff is super friendly and accommodating.
The soy decaf mocha I got was delicious, and the peanut butter chocolate chip cookie was good too.
The coffee was wonderful, unfortunately like many other “artisan” coffee shops they refuse to offer non-sugar or low-calorie sweeteners. Places like this are just to boujee for their own good.
Very nice and clean, relaxing shop. Staff are great and the coffee is fresh and always good.
Love the atmosphere! The coffee is freshly ground and is delicious. You can also buy beans and loose leaf teas.
Gourmet coffee in a modest cup! Great service and they make a good latte.
Tried their peppermint tea....Perfection!! And they bring you just the right amount of honey! New favorite!!! Try the Carmel Latta it's delicious!
