I got the california girl and all american sandwiches with gluten free bread (celiac disease) and had no issues! Also I am super sick with COVID right now and they let me pay over the phone so my friend could pick it up. They were extremely kind, and the sandwiches were honestly amazing/
Nestled in downtown mount pleasant this spot has Excellent sandwiches made with fantastic ingredients. Don't forget to grab some fresh bread from the display case.

So yummy! Good portion sizes and great prices. Their menu is so big there is always something good to try. They are fast at getting orders completed as well
Magnificent food, absolutely fabulous service, minimal wait time and make sure to try the chocolate croissants.
My favorite part about visiting Mt pleasant is this place. Sure, seeing old friends is great, but a Max and Emily's sandwich is a must.
Best sandwich shop I have every been to, and it's not even close. I just wish there was one in my home town.

I lost the post I was working on in depth and concise language to express my stress. Really looked forward to this. Didn't tell my husband when he said he would come at 4:30 pm!! Didn't say "we close at 4." Leave a note even saying that you closed, knowing that he placed an ORDER. Gave you his phone number so if the person he talked to had wrong closing hours could have called back. Sad we didn't get to have one. AND DIDN'T PAY AHEAD OF TIME!! To bad he spent a long time looking for the place.
The Southern Man sandwich was amazing! I usually get the Caesar but very glad I tried something new! Ate about 2:30 pm and was a quiet time.
