Great staff! They were super busy and still kept on us. Delicious and massive, face sized sandwiches. Definitely try their nachos!

We came back a year later, wow, how time flies!!!! My wife had the whitefish and fries dinner, I had the whitefish ruben sandwich. Both were good, but nothing that we could call special. Both items were bland in taste, the homemade tarter sauce was excellent and really helped out the whitefish. The ruben was the same, but came with coleslaw between the whitefish and ryebread, this made for an excessively damp, drippy sandwich which kind of forced me to eat fast and not get a chance to enjoy the food. Prices were pretty much the same as other restaurants on the Island, in the $20+ range per meal. It was an ok dinner tonight....😐

The fish and chips were great here and the atmosphere felt very cozy and warm! A great place to stop in and eat after walking the main street of fudge shops and boutiques.

We stopped in to have a light lunch. We ordered the cup of whitefish chowder with the whitefish dip. The chowder was amazing. The dip was also amazing. It was a pate with Flatbread and crackers. Our server was so nice, and we enjoyed chatting with her and learning more about the island. With so many choices on the island, we are glad we stopped here.

Best meal of the trip!! Was looking for somewhere to eat on Sunday night around 9pm and most places had already closed their kitchens. We stumbled upon this restaurant and it did not disappoint. We had the white fish dinner and Cajun pasta and both were so delicious. Must do if you’re looking for a nice restaurant or just to have an amazing meal.

Stopped in for lunch when I first arrived on the island and enjoyed the company of a cool bartender, had a beer and a white fish Reuben. You read that right. It was every bit as good as it sounds. Worth the stop!

I had terrible service at this restaurant- i wanted a dinner item because I arrived at 4:15 and dinner starts at five. Kara shut down my request 4 times stating it’s part of the service . Took my business to Pink Pony

Great seafood! Expensive, but worth it. The fish was out of this world! Fish dip was awesome as well. Friendly staff, cool environment

Seabiscuit Cafe was delicious!!! The Equestrian theme wasn't exactly our fit, but they did it in a very classy, cool way. The food was great, especially the bisque! Their seafood is top notch. their cocktails and beer selection was also a really nice addition. This was the first restaurant we visited on the island and it really set a high bar for us. Would definitely recommend for a laid back, intimate dinner!

Love the ambiance of this place - really great decor and friendly staff. Food was really good too... the burgers had a really nice flavor to them and the hot fudge sundae is really tasty for dessert.

We went to Seabiscuit Cafe on our first night on Mackinac Island. We had come over on a later ferry, check into our hotel down the street, and headed in to see if we could get a table. After just a short wait we got a nice table in the dining room by the bar. The bartenders served our table as well as worked the bar and they did a really nice job, working as a team to make sure that we were well served. We started with two of their signature drinks. The Old Fashion was one of the best ones we tried on the trip. For dinner, I ordered Fish and Chips which are made with white fish from the great lakes. The batter was light and crispy without being oily. The tartar sauce was good and added to the fish. The fries were ok, but I am not a huge fry guy anyway. My wife got the fish tacos which were also delicious. The setting at Seabiscuit is themed on horse racing and the movie was showing on one of the TVs. It does make you feel like every day is derby day, and it was a nice place to have a casual dinner.

The service was excellent and so was the food. More surprising was how delicious their drinks were. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

The seabiscuit cafe is by far the best restaurant in the island! We went to many establishments while in the island and always found ourself back at the seabiscuit. Good food, drinks and service! Only complaint would be overall for the whole island - what’s with all the reggae music? Not the vibe we expect when on Mackinac Island.

My wife and I have visited MC Island for many years, this is one of our favorite places for dinner. Great food and staff, always a delight. Tonight she had the chicken and I had steak, we were both very happy with our choices and our waitress….wonderful!

Our waitress was wonderful! I had the chopped salad and it was one of the best salads I’ve ever had anywhere! I added grilled shrimp and it was cooked perfectly. My husband had the fish and chips and he said it was super good!

Food is good. Whitefish is caught locally and brought in daily right behind restaurant. Good food and cocktail selection. Not a big place, but accommodating. Historically significant establishment.
