I love the plentiful outdoor seating it's really lovely to be able to sit outside and enjoy the weather. I got a maple brown sugar coffee it was delightful would recommend. 10/10! One of my favorite coffee shops when visiting Lansing!

Gets busy and some folks in line choose to leave rather than wait to place an order. You lose business. . These peak times ... Opportunity to add an extra order taker / cashier line during peak times

Ya know it's a good coffee shop when you enter, and the place is packed with locals! I recommend a standard latte or their Blueberry Tea. They also have lots of unique and delicious bakery items to choose from.

Super friendly staff, Chai brewed from tea bags, not a garbage mix. Cozy and quality!

The atmosphere is super chill, it's a little bit maybe hipster, but not a bad way. I do not drink coffee myself but they're tea selection is very interesting. You'll find something you like and they have some of the best hot cocoa that I've gotten at a coffee shop.

Blue owl cafe is a great coffee shop. I do wish they had a slightly better selection of non coffee drinks. What they do have is fantastic. Some of the best caoco I have ever had, good teas, and I hear their coffee is good. The staff seems to like their jobs and are always happy to talk a bit.

Not being from the area, I found myself feeling so comfortable in there. Sat by the window for what felt like ever and had drink after drink then an everything bagel. What a friendly and kind staff. Wonderful place

Love love love, but closes early sometimes! No biggie just closes @ 6PM often so I figured I’d note it. Other than that, 10/10 coffee, the environment is amazing, the owners are the best!!! My favorite coffee shop in all of Lansing!!! ALSO REFERENCE TO THE LEAD PAINT REVIEW- LEAD PAINT STOPPED SALES IN 1980s. It’s acrylic paint, all is good. No health concerns from Blue Owl “a non professional painter who has common sense”

HEALTH WARNING: Do not bring little kids. The coffee and service were very good here, however, there appear to be some serious health concerns here. Most of the tables in the shop were old wooden doors with a piece of glass on top of them. Unfortunately, underneath the glass is what looks to me (after 3 years experience as a professional painter) as loose lead paint. There is also some of this paint exposed around the edges of the table were the glass covering is not present. For adults this is a minor risk, but for small children or those with them at home, loose chips of lead paint can cause neurological damage. Little kids like to pick at loose paint, and so the furniture is a dangerous temptation for any children who happen to visit. Hopefully I was mistaken (as I did not bring a lead paint test with me) and there are probably not many little kids visiting here, but this is a serious health oversight.

So thankful to have a LATTE!! Quality caffeinated beverages. Be prepared to answer the question "hot or iced".

Comfy atmosphere, high ceilings, quiet interiors make it easy to focus on work / reading. They have a more secluded seating area in the back which is really nice.

Long time customer and I used to live in the neighborhood--I miss being able to walk to Blue Owl! I'm so glad they are allowing call in orders now, it's a great way to save time. They have some delicious and unique beverages and put a lot of care into their drinks. It's a very good place to people watch in a fun art centric neighborhood. I've seen others mention they could use some better baked goods and I would agree with that. I think there are options for some great collabs to create some tasty diversity!

Nice eclectic coffee house in REO Town. Good variety of brews plus some alcoholic choices.
