First, it was a challenge to find. Google has you enter thru the parking lot behind their building, & (it's possible I missed it, but) from that side of the building there was no noticeable sign indicating that the building wasn't just an old house or more apartments, so I thought I was lost at first. Second, not only was there no signage indicating the prices on the large, clear menu posted on the wall were *outdated*, but even with that being the case, the barista taking my order also failed to give me a heads-up that they "had just raised their prices" - I was compelled to ask when I looked down at the card reader & saw a price that was about 50% higher. I changed my order, felt awkward about it bc it was, & left with my coffee. The minute you start charging a different price, it needs to be made clear on your menus. Doesn't need to be fancy, just needs to be there. That's basic business transparency & etiquette.
Went to the outside Vendors and got some amazing things!!
Walked in hoping for a snack, but since they were all out, the staff went out of their way to make sure I got something to eat. Thank you!
Oh my goodness, I can't say enough good things about Morning Ritual Cafe in Grand Rapids! First off, can we just talk about how amazing it is that they have their own parking lot? This is such a rarity in this day and age, and it makes popping in for a quick cup of joe or a full brunch experience so much more convenient. Speaking of the space, it is just darling. It's cute, cozy, and the perfect spot to gather with friends or simply bask in the ambiance while sipping on a latte. The vibe is welcoming and relaxed, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. And let's talk about the coffee - oh my goodness! The coffee is so delicious and flavorful. Plus, they are always coming up with new specials and caffeinated creations that are to die for. But what really sets Morning Ritual apart is their commitment to supporting the local community. They host so many fun shop pop-ups that allow local artisans and small business owners to showcase their amazing creations. It's wonderful to see a business that truly cares about its community and takes an active role in promoting local talent. Overall, I can't recommend Morning Ritual Cafe enough. The parking lot, the cute space, the tasty coffee, and the community involvement all make for an absolutely delightful experience!
Busy quality local coffee shop
Instead of having individual tables downstairs they should have two long tables. There were 6 people taking up the space with their computers and didn't leave any space on the table for anyone to sit across from them so even though the seating appeared to be 12 people it really only allowed for 7 and that only occurred because I tapped on the table and they moved their backpack off the chair facing the window.
THE Coffee Shop of West Michigan! On top of serving up the best beverages and flavors around, Morning Ritual supports so many small businesses and local artists, while being a feel good, safe space for all who enter✨ I have been to Morning Ritual more times than I can count & it’s always a wonderful experience! Thank you for being the best and for having such an amazing vibe & space for everyone to enjoy!
Delicious and lovely! Had an Ube Matcha and a London Nights, which is an iced London fog with lavender cold foam and edible glitter stars! Both were a feast for the eyes and the taste buds 😍 highly recommend
Service is excellent , ambiance of the store is good. There was a person selling flowers ahead of Easter, great to see collaboration. Cortado is avg, espresso is too dark & bitter. Spicy Mocha has a strong punch from Cayenne pepper overpowering the coffee. The store has baked goods from Field & Fire, I love their products.
My absolutely favorite coffee shop. Their menu is so unique and everything is SO good.
This place is great! There are several large tables upstairs suitable for about ten people each. If you have a group looking for a nice place to run a table top game, this is a good spot.
New favorite coffee shop. Cozy and inclusive atmosphere with delicious coffee and homemade syrups.
What a horrible experience. If you as the barista know that there is an event happening upstairs, you should say that before I order my drink. The majority of the sitting space here is upstairs. Communicate. If there is a rental taking place today, communicate. It's not hard, it's good customer service. If you plan on going here be sure to check if they have an event about to happen because otherwise you'll order, sit down, and then be asked to leave in less than 5 minutes.
Absolutely love this space. Amazing drinks, great staff, immaculate vibes. They have something for everyone, coffee drinker or not :)
There was an awesome vegan pop-up event while we were there; it was awesome, all the food n people and vibes were also awesome!! We will be back!!
They have great coffee and such a beautiful atmosphere!
Not many options coffee is good sizes don't make sense service is rude
By far my favorite coffee shop in GR. Safe space with amazing lattes and artwork for sale. Upstairs space is great for small gatherings and events.
Came for a latte on a Saturday morning. Took 20 minutes to make with only a couple people in front of me ordering. One barista working. If you can’t fulfill in store and DoorDash orders in a timely manner, then eliminate one. Latte was average and overpriced (only 10 or 12 oz available). A one and done for me.
Coffee was meh. The service was great, drinks came out quick, however there is very little seating and we weren't able to enjoy our drinks inside.
