It has changed since 5 years ago. There are less pastries to choose from, but they have a nice atmosphere and outdoor seating. Their cups are also 12oz. I thought they were bigger last time. Overall. I'm glad I came back and still the only coffee place I will go out of my way to stop at in GR.
Great drinks and service!
They're a traditional style coffee shop. They have some very yummy looking bakery items but I didn't eat anything, I only had coffee. If you get hot coffee for there, they make the fancy foam art in your cup. They have several non dairy options which is great. My coffee was very tasty. The staff were friendly, but they weren't great about telling you how they do things there. They don't bring your coffee to you, you need to pick it up when they call out your order. And you are expected to clear your own dishes. All of that is fine, I just prefer when I'm told what's expected. They don't have a ton of seating, it was full when I was there for indoor seating but they do have outdoor seating available.
I love coming here to get a few hours of work done. There is usually enough space to sit comfortably with a laptop and the coffee options are an excellent variety!
I ordered a drink from someone named Hailee, she treated my like she hated me. I was very uncomfortable. I just wanted a drink, nothing special. She wouldn’t look at me when she gave it to me then just walked away. She didn’t even make the drink right. I asked her nicely to fix it, but she wouldn’t. By the time I finally got it, it was cold and still wasn’t made right. Overall very poor service, would not recommend.
Skin milk is not soy that I asked for. People with true lactose intolerance can't do cow milk or products.
I've been a regular for a couple years now. It fills up quick but once you're there the vibes are great. The service is always stellar. And the coffee is excellent.

Lyons Street Cafe is a lovely place to get some really yummy coffee and treats. I ordered a peppermint oatmilk mocha latte that was just the right combination of peppermint and chocolate. Along the road, they have built little chalets with cute heaters inside. My niece and I enjoyed my coffee inside one. You could snuggly fit 4 people. Otherwise, it was very comfortable for 2. The staff were very friendly. I will definitely be going back.
One of my favorite places in town. The blueberry muffins are amazing also the best coffee in town!
Best coffee in Grand Rapids! Alexandria and her staff are always friendly, and efficient! Great vibes here! My favorite is the Matcha latte & the Miel!
Guys, this place is amazing. Both food & offerings will blow you away! Service was friendly and efficient. The space is stunning and vibe. Highly recommend. Will be my new go-to relaxation spot in the area.

No food options yet, but that's in the works from what I hear. The coffee is incredible and the friendly staff. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. It's a great place to get some work done while enjoying premium coffee or to catch up with old friends.Stellar location with a nice outside seating area. 10/10 would recommend and return.

Favorite coffee shop in GR! I’ve tried most of all the coffee shops in the area and I always come back to Lyon street. Great place to study/work but can get loud if that’s an issue for you.
Today they asked me if I wanted whole milk, and I said yes. They then spent nearly 20 minutes making me a drink with oat milk, which I didn't realize until I had left. All of their coffees and blends are light roast, which is fine if you like that sort of thing, but I wish they had more options.
First time here and it was a great experience! Would definitely recommend to others:)
Service was good but lattes are overprices for and entire cup of milk and not even half an espresso shot. Watched and the shot wasnt even half full. It like paying 5 bucks for a cup of milk
Really good coffee! But the girl at the counter that took our order with the tattoos on her arm was …. 😍 anyways, yeah the coffee was chefs kiss.
