Okay so I'm really not a coffee person so take this review has a full tablespoon of salt, but this is the best coffee shop in Ann Arbor. The ambiance, the staff, the plants, the merch, the board games, the seating area, this is what Ann Arbor is all about. Great quality food with a focus on creating an overall experience and just being wonderful all around. And as a bonus, the non-coffee drinks I've had here, from teas to their hot chocolate, are delicious. 10/10

Good coffee, outdoor seating... Unfortunately in a very noisy part of town.
This is a boho little café with some greenery and indoor & outdoor seating options. My guest and I ordered the lemon bar latte and berry mocha and we each tried both. SO good, both of them were so flavorful and prepared beautifully with the colorful edible glitter latte art. The atmosphere is very small but nice for summertime. The service was super helpful and sweet as well. Definitely intend to return!
Got the chai and and the cafe miel. For the price the amount we got was a little on the low side. The cafe miel was pretty good, but the chai tasted flat
Great coffee.. got a large latte extra hot.. recommend the outside chairs.. little noisy but nice 👍
Very high quality coffee (the roastery clearly does an excellent job) and drinks were made well (on par with places like Roos Roast and Hyperion). The baristas were friendly and knowledgable. Main con is that the store location is nearby some frat houses so the chance of loud... ambiance... Is quite high. Generally not a problem, but can make reading or studying hard.
Great staff and my 420 nutella latte was delish with a little cinnamon on top 😋

How can some place be so perfect? It's just awesome. I have tried many drinks, and everytime, every single time I was extremely happy. I think it's the best in Ann Arbor. ☺️🥰🥰❤️

Great coffee!!! I prefer their iced drinks over their hot drinks, though. Also, it’s always SUPER warm inside… so if you run hot, be ware!
Awesome little shop with delicious and strong cofffe and a few delectable baked goods standard coffee shop fare but so yummy. Tried a wake and bake latte for the hash bash event and a salted caramel macaroon both were amazing.
My favorite thing about Vertex is their coffee flights. Sometimes, I just don't know what I want, and Vertex solves that problem for me! I can get 4 (smaller sized) drinks and have it all. The espresso is rich, smooth, and delicious. I haven't had a drink that I disliked. My favorite drink is the chai. Their pastries are also great. I was happy to see that they offer gluten free goodies so that my partner with Celiac disease could enjoy them. The staff members are always nice. I love that the outdoor seating has heat lamps when it's cold outside, especially since there's not a ton of indoor space. It's a great coffee shop to go if you want to try a bunch of different drinks or are indecisive like me. I wish more places did coffee flights.
Best coffee in town. Try cappuchino with whole milk and top it up with brown sugar and a hint of cinamonn. I was awestruck by the freshness of the beans. They roate bean flavors. The cafe itself is very sustainable and reuses cutlery like stirrers etc. There is inside and outdoor seating available.
Cute and quirky. Good atmosphere. Would love to have more comfortable seating and more options for tea drinkers. 👍
Phenomenal. Reasonable prices, delicious beverages, always a good vibe, never s hassle to find a seat.
The employees here are freaking nice and the chai tastes like a pumpkin pie. Delicious and such a great atmosphere!
