Order a drink during open bar then asked the bar tender for rail vodka. She didn’t hear me correctly and started acting extremely rude when I told her I wanted the free rail vodka drink. She continued to ignore me and wouldn’t serve me the rest of the night. while I was extremely polite she continued to be rude.. very disappointed a organization like this would allow there workers to completely disrespect there customers.
if i could give a 0 starts then i would. the bottle girl was extremely rude…. did not listen to the text messages to bring out the bottles barely even texted back. we had to get a whole new bottle girl and she barely even knew what she was doing. they sent out the wrong bottles with the wrong signs when i clearly gave them perfect instructions…… then the worst part is that they brought out our bottles 1 hour before close…….. We paid a 350$ deposit and 750 at the door and never even got to use our balance…… our friends popped bottles for us and paid for it there we have receipts and all….. but they said that we used our balance 🤣🤣🤣🤣 manager was rude had a nasty attitude. JUST MONEY HUNGRY horrible customer server …. i will never come back i was only there bc society was closed … scammed us out 1,000 which is sad

I love the a la Carter breakfast option! I can put together what I'm craving for breakfast.
This is one of the best coffee shops I’ve been to. Food is delicious and the systems in place are efficient.
I had the classic French toast and a cortado - made for a very pleasant breakfast experience. Coffee and food are both high quality and very tasty.
Unfortunately our waffles tasted like they had salt in them, our cappuccinos were given to us luke warm. Other tables received their food before us and they arrived after us. Finally they forgot to get my daughter's hot chocolate. So disappointed we won't be coming back. Why order from the QR code on the table , get charged and never receive what you paid for. We asked for a refund.
First visit: 5 stars for Nice vibe and friendly staff. Second visit: weekday lunch. Slow, not so friendly service. took 20 mins to get a coffee and had to get food to go b/c it took so long.
Went here on a Sunday. It was moderately packed. They have different seating options such as couches, small tables, etc. I liked the vibe, similar to Starbucks. The mango black tea was so good! I got the sandwich with the vegan sausage, and it was lacking in flavor for me. I've heard the coffee is really good, but I don't drink coffee. Maybe I'll come back and try a pastry because they looked good.
Nice place to telework or just hang out. Staff very accommodating of food allergies and will serve all side dishes if that's what you want. All this and terrific coffee too.
We went here in March 2023. The food was amazing, but the service was the worst I've ever experienced. Some of our food never arrived, and the food that did arrive took over an hour. They didnt bring the table's food all at once. Other tables had customers who completely finished their meal and were waiting for the other people at the table to recieve their meal. They only had one runner, so food was forgotten and just sitting getting cold. :( I went to the barista to inquire about the food (two different plates) we'd never received, and there were other customers that had just come in for coffee that had also been waiting an hour - for COFFEE. The food was amazing, but their delivery system was horrendous. Nobody working there seemed to know what was going on.
This place I would be there every time I can if I lived in the area. The environment is a vibe, I enjoy to see people interacting and just being together even if they are doing their thing. The food was exceptional what you wouldn't expect from a coffee house. I had the waffle with cream cheese inside of it. I had to try and recreate it once I fly back home. You won't regret going to this place. Awesome job to everyone who works there and the visionaries of the business.
Food and drinks are generally good… service could be improved. They have a process for people who are dining in but anything ordered online or to go is messy. There’s no area designated for online order food pick up and as busy are they are they should try to be getting people their food and drink in a timely fashion so they can leave quickly.
First time here over the weekend. Went here after I missed hotel breakfast. Decent menu you can customize as well, you can also order & pay on your phone which was nice. I got coffee cake & a mocha. Mocha was okay and the coffee cake was delicious.
Very cool vibe. The best meal I had the entire week that I was in the DC area, was here.
Fun restaurant beautiful space great staff. One of the few places that has a scan menu system that lets you pay. I really enjoyed using it. And their drinks were amazing
Couldn't get a table. There is no fair system. The fastest person gets the table and staff could care less.
Waited an hour for my drink to arrived. Thats not a good look. Food arrived in 15 min. But my hot mocha to more than hour.
The food is good but the wait for the coffee is long we finished the meal and the drinks still did not arrive
The only thing is they close early so if you're looking for a place to work and your day ends at 5, you'll have to pack up. Also not every table has a plug so that can be a little annoying if you're going to do work. Arrive early to get a spot. Otherwise it's a great place and I love going there . Food is good too!
