I got a breakfast that hit the spot. Price was decent and service was excellent. I recommend this place if you looking for a simple delicious economical meal. Oh...and fyi...my 10yr daughter loved her chocolate chip pancakes so much that she wanted to marry it...LOL!
Great little breakfast spot. Wonderful food at excellent cost. Highly enjoyed!
Nicole was the best.
Good Breakfast!
Hashbrowns were soggy and soft, western omlet wasnt mixed. Seemed to put no effort into the food. please spend your money elsewhere
Food good, great prices servers great.
Overall good!
I’ve gone to Sea Bay Cafe Monday- Friday for breakfast for the many summers that I’ve stayed at Sea Bay Motel for 5 days each year, even during the pandemic. Used to be decent prices and lots of choices for all appetites. The last manager was terrific. She was let go or put in a position to have to quit. But this year, for the first time I couldn’t get a short stack of pancakes or French toast, like in the past, so I had to order the regular one for big appetites, pay too much and waste a lot! Also lots of items that were available in previous years aren’t available now so my husband and I went to another restaurant close by, after Monday, when we saw/experienced the negative changes. We went where I could get smaller portions and we could get an AARP discount.
Everything was great. Waiter was really nice.
Excellent food and service, best coffee I've ever had!
Great little cafe across from the beach area Great customer service , clean and open all day . The breakfast menu has a lot good things to pick especially healthy .. if you a healthy estar like me . We went to a lot of breakfast places in the area and by 1pm in the afternoon they were closed , not serving breakfast. The breakfast was quick & good .
Cool, casual spot with outdoor & indoor seating, very good food & a laid back vibe.
Great place to stop for a quick bite. Great fresh fruit smoothies and breakfast items. Outdoor deck seating available.
This is a long overdue review. My fiancé and I absolutely love the Sea Bay Cafe and we make it a point to go at least once whenever we head to OCMD! The staff is always so friendly and welcoming. The man who runs the place, Miguel, is such a hard-working, genuine person. We look forward to seeing him when we visit. Breakfast has never let us down! Can’t go wrong with The Combo… it hits the spot every time. The cocktails are strong (in a good way) and refreshing, especially the mimosas. Don’t sleep on this place! It’s a hidden gem for sure.
French toast is to die for...
Great food and awesome service.
Pleasantly surprised! Doesn’t look like much from the outside but sure fooled me. I know it’s just breakfast food. Given, their lunch and dinner menu looked great too. Especially their Drink menu. But it was by far the best breakfast I’ve ever had. I have 15 years of experience working as a server in a restaurant so I can be critical. The best part was our server. I believe her name was Bean. She was amazing. Anticipating my every need. Food came out in less than 15 minutes. Highly recommend this place. The only criticism i have was that I saw one of the other servers put their fingers in someone’s food to see what kind of omelet it was. Only for a second though. I’d be lying if i said i never had done that though. So I’ll give it a pass. The restaurant looked clean and sanitary.
I was looking online for a place that served late morning breakfast and came across Sea Bay Cafe on 60th Street. Their website said breakfast was served until 2:00p.m. This was very helpful because not every place clearly states how late breakfast is served. In our party of four we each started with fruit cups. The fruit was freshly cut and prepared by our server, Janet. It included strawberries, blueberries and bananas. A good size serving. We ordered French toast, pancakes, and creamed chipped beef, all with sausage links. My personal choice, the French toast, was very tasty. The sausage link was also tasty and well cooked. Everyone enjoyed their food. The coffee was flavorful. The cafe is clean and has a pleasant appearance. Seating is available inside or outside. Indoor seating is comfortably spaced. Janet was very friendly and pleasant. Although the Sea Bay Cafe is 76 blocks from our north OC beach home we will definitely return. A nice change of pace from the more crowded and loud places. Tip: The address online is shown as 6007 Coastal Hwy. However, the restaurant is on the side of the building on 61st Street. Look for the orange flag sign outside that says "breakfast" and turn before it.
The food wasAwesome We came downstairs every morning for breakfast Every waitress we had served us and greeted us with a smile
Only giving four stars cause we didn't get to have the full experience due to the impending rain coming in I had the peanut butter chocolate banana shake and it quite good. I could taste all the flavors and my wife had the acai bowl which was the right size definitely going to go back and within walking distance from our hotel. Great staff there. Very friendly.
