Had a lovely experience our first time At coffee beanery. Everyone who helped us from start to finish were extremely kind. Rena was really helpful with helping us pick out two drinks and two pastries that we just adored! We will definitely be coming back before heading home and highly recommend stopping in.
Ordered a grande latte from the "specials" menu. It tasted pretty good, but it was almost $7 including an absurd $0.50 upcharge for "light ice." I can only imagine that would be for extra product instead of ice, but the cup was shorted a finger-width at the top (about 10% missing from the whole drink). Absurd pricing. In addition, the outdoor handicap ramp ended in a two inches deep by ten-foot wide pool of water. Thank heavens I didn't need that. UPDATE: Decreasing service to 1* after lame response to my review. "We'd never short a drink" after I told them it was short. "Everybody has water issues" is not a solution...build an inexpensive bridge over the puddle at your door is a solution.
Inconsistent in how they make the drinks. Ask for extra espresso one day and it’s amazing, next day ask for the same and it is watery.
I’m so happy my partner and I decided to grab breakfast here while visiting OC! The staff is very friendly, and they create a very relaxing environment. The coffee and food are delicious! There are so many different unique menu items (something for everyone). I would definitely recommend the avocado toast if you’re in the mood for something favorable. Will definitely be stopping back here next time I’m in the area :)
It was so good to be back this weekend! What a great coffee shop!! The drinks and food are delicious, the staff is very friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxing. They have outdoor seating and are very dog friendly. Looking forward to seeing Rana and the crew on my next trip to Ocean City!
Very disappointing! I have been coming here for many years and never had an experience as such. There was ONLY one person working both the counter and the drive through. So many reasons this is wrong! I have managed three successful businesses for a decade and NEVER have we had one person running a location alone. It's completely understandable that there might not be enough staff due to the season, however someone owns this place and should be present . It's a huge safety issue to have one person by themselves in this type business. It took us 30 min to get two coffees. It WAS NOT the baristas fault. She was running back forth trying to take care of everyone. Not only is this a disservice to the customer who has to spend $10 for two coffees and wait an exuberant amount of time, it shows a lack of custmer appreciation. Not to mention paying a $1 or a $1.50 for ice going to make a financial difference in revenue like the sign posted at the bar states.
Love love love! Best espresso! Great açaí bowls, muffins, bagels all breakfast sandwiches! We love this place! Great staff! Everyone so nice and always fresh ingredients…
Some of the nicest employees i’ve ever met! I was a part of a group of five girls for a trip and we all drinks, sandwiches, and bakery items. We sat down and within 10 minutes all of our order was ready. The workers delivered our order to us and even handed out our food to us! The manager delivered our drinks and talked with us. She was so nice and I don’t know how anyone could be unhappy with this place! The smoothies were all delicious and the sandwiches were to die for! The atmosphere was so chill and everyone was so nice! Will definitely be back next time I’m on the island!!!
This place was within walking distance of our AirBnb, so we decided to stop over on a Sunday morning. There was a small line, but nothing crazy. The car meet was going on outside. I ordered a large black coffee. With such a simple order, I assumed the employee would just go over to the machine and fill up a cup for me or just hand me a cup so I could serve myself at a machine like other coffee shops do. Nope. I stood there for around 10 minutes while they made various specialty drinks for others. If I didnt already pay for the coffee, I would have just left. My friend was waiting outside with her dog and was going to order something after I came out, but told me to just forget it because of how long it was taking me. When my name was called, the guy gave me an ICED black coffee.. Not wanting to waste more of my time, I just took the thing and laughed. It's sad that you have to specify HOT these days when ordering a simple cup of coffee. Thankfully, I can tolerate cold coffee so I drank it. It was fine. I really wanted to like this place, but the insane wait for a simple cup of black coffee and then the order being wrong when you're paying $5.50 for one cup results in a 1/5 score. Unfortunately, we ended up going to a nearby Dunkin for hot coffee after getting back to our place. Hopefully the next time I'm in OC and try this place it will be a better experience.
I LOVE coming here for a leisurely nosh and an iced latte. Today I had a white chocolate mocha iced latte, and two macadamia nut cookies. And a really nice conversation with Rana about her family's coffee shop. We've been visiting this lovely shop since pre-COVID times and are so very glad it's still surviving!
Went there on 4/21 and me not being a big coffee fanatic and first timer I wanted to try a frozen drink. The young lady at the register who helped me was kind, but couldn’t tell me what ingredients was in each drink. For instance, when I asked about the fudge ripple, and what was in it, she said “fudge”, and then when I asked about the caramel crunch, and what was in it, she said, “caramel”. When I asked for specifics of each, she gave me a look of uncertainty. I left disappointed and frustrated. I went across the street to 7-11.
Food good, I like the car meets on weekends. People just relaxing, enjoying cars and coffee and good food from the beanery

Decided to try out this local spot for some lattes. Location is great and plenty of options on the menu. They even have their local beans for purchase. Main reason why just 4 stars is because the lattes were NOT hot. Luke warm at best. I took a sip within a couple of minutes after purchase. Taste was great but the temperature not so much.
Ordered: small flat white and medium oat milk latte. The barista gives me the order. “Is this the small flat white?” She replies yes 🤣 ok I guess I need an eye control 🥲 It’s nice that they have a drive trough tho. Coffee is a disappointment. I’ve had better coffee at vending machines. It is what it is.
We stopped in for a coffee and ended up having a yummy bagel. It was a wonderful mud morning treat. The coffee was piping hot. The seating area was warm and inviting. There was a large assortment if unique coffee and kcups. The tees were kitchy! Drop in and ENJOY!
Great coffee, great pastries and the place is super nice and cozy! Recommend !
I love hitting the Beanery before work! Always leave with a smile on my face whether it takes 2 minutes or 15 minutes to get my coffee. The girls in there are FANTASTIC. Even when busy they communicate with you & they always leave cute notes on your cup to start your day!!
Good food with a nice touch. We ordered a couple of coffees and breakfast sandwiches. The food and coffee was great and we liked the nice message in the to go tray. We recommend!
One of the tastiest lattes and bagel sandwiches I've had in a long time. Memorable!! And a very cozy spot.
