Stopped here on the way to our hike. Was not impressed with the mocha or iced coffee. The coffee just tastes off
Delicious sandwiches, very reasonably priced and generously filled. Place smells amazing walking in. We didn't get a chance to try the coffees, but we are more than pleasantly surprised with the sandwiches.
I'm sure the coffee is fine but the espresso they used in our cappuccino and mocha had a grainy burnt flavor that was overpowering and made it hard do enjoy my chicken salad sandwich which was very good. I did talk to the barista and mention the grounds might have been burned when they pulled the espresso. No comment other than that they would remake the drink. Einsteins quote applied here of repeating the same thing and expecting a different result. No change. Just a waste of good milk and cup supplies. I check a few of the low star reviews and it seems the owner feels the beans they choose for their espresso roast is like their Hallmark or creative decision. To each his own. I have had coffee all around the world and not had this burnt flavor before in an espresso. I'm very concerned if the staff enjoy their lattes at all. I would raise this as a red flag or offer selections of roasts for the beans used for espresso other than a "dark roast" espresso. It really tasted like a one off mistake or accident but the reviews show me its noticeable and repeating. Google review staring: Unfortunately there is no star rating for the coffee from this coffee company. Google only specifics rating service, food, atmosphere as catagories. I gave 4 stars for everything else but an overall of 2 specifically for the espresso flavor. I will not be ordering an espresso drink from here again. Everything else was great and the sandwiches were delicious, well priced and quick. I recommend this establishment in general.
If you're a fan of cold brew, Frosty's Favorite and Cinnamon Sticky Bun are both pretty incredible. Otherwise, the selection of coffee is huge, tons of different tea options as well. Everybody who works there has been nothing but friendly and courteous. 10/10 would recommend.
Great local coffee spot. Get a cup and brings the beans home for brewing. Listen to Craig’s advice when ordering your drink! Wonderful to support local Fredrick business
The most delicious teas I’ve ever had
Very clean. Friendly and personable staff. Quality products.
Get the blueberry muffin and ask for butter. Recommended to eat it that way (shout out to Craig!) and it is delicious. Coffee is fresh and hard to choose just one. Cute little place. Will be back.
Good options of coffee beans to choose from. Love that there are options to get a small quater pound packet too. But not a good place to have coffee - whole milk is not available.
Baltimore Tea and Coffee always seems to be busy when I go, but that doesn’t stop the staff from being friendly and helpful. They work as quickly as they can while maintaining great service. I have tried a couple different coffee drinks — many at suggestion of the staff — and have come away happy. Then, the best part, they have gluten free options — both retail and fresh food. I get the gluten free bagel with sausage, egg, and cheese, and am always very pleased when they ask if it’s for an allergy. Whenever I’m by Westview/Ballenger Creek, I make sure to stop by!
The place looks very appealing and the small of coffee ☕ love it! The frozen coffees very tasty 😋
Friendly staff and great variety of coffee! I wish the coffee from the hot coffee bar was not so hot! It is impossible to drink without cream in it unfortunately.
Not only is the food excellent, but my wife was sick and working in the same shopping center, so they made her a sandwich and walked it across the parking lot with a special note from me to help her feel better. You just don't get service like this anymore, so, please show them all the love you can! Great food, even better service, highly recommend!!!
Update: I am confused. The initial reply I had seen early on was that the barista had been talked with and things remedied versus what I now see as the response to my post. It is funny still because I was right there at the counter and I did not see wax paper being used. And there was none in the bag with the three slices in it to boot. Beyond that, two people were walking out as I was sitting at a table waiting for the sandwich I paid for and I overheard them speaking to the same young woman where it sounded like this young woman was leaving, as if that day or week was going to be her last there. Lastly, there is still no explanation about her working the register with me there, getting the cake slices and then going to make the sandwich I referred to above, with me never seeing a change of gloves from the register either. Something is off here. We'll go our separate ways. +++++ Really like this place. But sorry, reluctant to go back now. Just got late lunch and woman in tan knit cap who rung me up with gloves on proceeded to grab each slice of cake with same gloved hands to put each piece into the bag. I did not notice her change her gloves either when she went to make the sandwich I ordered as well. Unless I missed something, ringing someone up on a register and then proceeding to the food ordered with the same gloves is kind of gross. Others may not feel the same but I know some that do. I feel like I'm about to toss fifteen dollars or so into the trash.
Met a friend for breakfast, the place was about half-full, plenty of seating, no line, barely a wait for our food and drinks, and a cozy roomy atmosphere. The food was good. The drinks were good and there were plenty of choices on the menu of both drinks and food.
This is my preferred morning coffee stop, but they frequently open later than their posted hours. It’s disappointing as I have to get to work and cannot wait.
Great atmosphere, and the cashier was super sweet :)
The muffins are delicious and they always have a great variety of coffee and teas to choose from.
Nice atmosphere. Unique collection of flavored teas. Sandwiches are pricey.
This is one of our favorite coffee shops in Frederick, MD. It was the weekend before Thanksgiving 11.19.22 and the place was packed with people enjoying breakfast and a hot specialty drink before embarking on their holiday shopping spree. We had a large group and Craig, the cashier in training, rocked the day! He was calm, friendly and most importantly had a great sense of humor. Even though the place was packed, Craig made us feel like our order was the only thing that mattered. He excels at whatever he does because he is intuitive and awesome! Thank you Craig ❤️
