Had brunch on Saturday. The food was excellent. The Tatte latte is really good. Finding an open table before our food was ready was easy too. We got lucky with a small table that fit our dishes well.Highly recommended.

My family really enjoyed Tatte. We tried a few of the shakshukas and found them to be flavorful and delicious, paired well with some yummy bread that was both soft but hardy enough to make it the perfect pairing. The cheesecake cup and coffees were also lovely. The outside seating makes it a good spot for a group in nice weather, and it was stroller friendly.

Lattes were excellent, and the lamb hash had so many great flavors, ridiculously good, and affordable (though I am visiting from California where I'm used to prices 60% higher for this kind of meal, so take that with a grain of salt).

Pretty good but could use some small improvements! Overall, the food and service are good. Coffee/tea is plentiful and delicious. They have a beautiful bakery section with freshly created pastries, cookies, breads, and more. Their savory options are fabulous too. Ordering online is pretty easy but sometimes wait times can be quite long for pickup orders. I have had just a few notable issues in my time going here: - Once when dining in, the server placed an apparently very hot pan of shakshuka in front of me. She did not warn me that the pan had evidently just been in the oven, or at least that's how it felt when I touched it. I burned my thumb and middle finger and it felt like it was burning the rest of the day, and left a mark for about a week. It felt and looked like a layer of skin was singed off. 🥲 I didn't see her after that and didn't get a chance to tell her what had happened. So that sucked. - I ordered lunch for delivery (they deliver through Doordash) and added a container of their house-made cookies to my order. When my order arrived, there were no cookies, but a note from Tatte saying that they were out of those cookies and that I should pursue a refund with Doordash. Tatte did not notify me before the order was delivered, nor were the cookies listed as out of stock on their website. I had to call Doordash and explain the issue to get a refund. I don't think it ever came through. Other than those two incidents, I have enjoyed my time at Tatte.

I liked their mixed seasonal fruit box, so I went back for it the next time I was around there. The cheesecake and apple cake were also good. I'll come back here, or their other branches whenever there's one nearby.

Tatte was great when it first opened on the area, but they’ve clearly grown too fast as the food quality has suffered and the overall quality control is haphazard. Sandwiches that are all bread, lost parts of orders, etc - we’re done eating here for a long time.

I come to coffeeshops specifically to spend time. I like to find a corner, preferably with an outlet, and listen to the sound. Some coffeeshops have a nice degree of chitter; others, like this Tatte, are subdued, allowing you to either listen to the music, or to your own. Tatte is notable for also feeling like a chic restaurant, with sumptuous dishes that leave you very filled, and coffee so dense to die for. There are so many seats, and so many options. Breakfast all day; breakfast at Tatte's in DC.

This place is definitely a vibe. The quality of savory food is okay…I don’t feel I would recommend trying the savory dishes. However, the desserts and the atmosphere are 💯!

Tasty as tatte is always. Went at 5 pm and they still had everything we ordered and even a solid showing of pastries too for so late in the day. Each dish is so flavorful.

I tried the morning bun, kouign-amann, and cheesecake - bakery side of things is delicious! Cafe seems pretty crowded most of the time though, and the beverages were just okay.

The food and pastries range from okay to really good. On my most recent visit, I was disappointed to find that the passion fruit krembo was just not good. It was very grainy and sugary. My sandwich was meh as well. The bread to filling ratio could use improvement. Other times, I've really enjoyed my visit, so I guess it's a gamble.

Not sure if it's a new thing, but dining in with to go plates and silverware was not great. Also maybe be staff, but ordering and getting tea and a hot beverage was painful.

Brunch on Sundays! My favorite is the oat milk vanilla latte! Croque madame with gravy! Omg and the shakshuka. French toast for your taste buds

One of the best coffee shops and breakfast spots around! We ordered two breakfast sandwiches, Halva lattes, morning bun, croissant, and a Halva brownie for the road. Food never disappoints and quality/consistency always stays true across their locations. The interior and atmosphere is super bright, clean, and welcoming which makes it always hard to leave!

Beautiful ambiance Lovely display of pastries High ceiling with huge windows Strong robust coffee Tatte has it all. I wish the food was better though. I came three times for lunch and tried 7 different entrees by now. I would always order things that are popular or recommend by the staff. However nothing was all that memorable. Croissants, Kouign-amann, monkey bread were all okay. Nothing spectacular. The shashouka lacked flavor, tartines were ordinary, lamb hash was just okay, halloumi salad was meh, croissant sandwiches were too salty (got it with turkey ham). Honestly, in terms of food, there is nothing wow worthy. Just enjoy the vibe, grab a cake or pastries along with espresso drinks. Tatte is a restaurant I really want to like yet was never satisfied.

My husband and I stopped by Tatte for a quick bite. The smell of freshly baked goodies hit us as soon as we entered and we had a tough time deciding what to have. I loved the morning bun and hot chocolate. We would've spent more time there but it was pretty crowded. Suggest going there earlier in the day for a quieter environment.

I really like this place! It was a nice atmosphere with a great menu. I really liked my "egg in a hole" bagel - would definitely buy it again! There was a little bit of a wait for the bathroom since there's only two single stalls available, but other than that, I really liked it here and would certainly come back!

This bakery was so good!! We ordered from the counter, pastries and baked goods to go. The pastry was so flaked and delicious. The mousse cake was so rich and decadent. I loved the feel of the space. It was beautiful! Great service, with a huge selection.
