Howard chardes .55 for refills, the Arab bank thats the money behind caribou does not...
Wanted a single shot of espresso, turns out a double costs the same as most places charge for a single. The employees were funny, fast, and very nice. Can't ask for more. I wish there was more space to sit down.
One of my favorite places to walk to in Bethesda
I have been visiting your Bethesda store daily for 8.5 months. Each day I buy a medium dark roast and sometime breakfast. I relax in the store for 30 min. to an hour then head to my office (a short walk away) I return at 10 am because up until today I was given a free refill. (No questions asked) I encouraged my co-workers to frequent this Caribou too and they often accompanied me. Today I was accosted by a worker there and another customer that I was "cheating the system" and "I know better" and I was informed that I was followed from my office and cannot have a free refill if I leave the store. I let them both know this is the 1st I had heard of it and that there must be better things to spend their time and energy on. They both continued to rant and share this with other customers to the point where I felt it necessary to raise my voice and say "ENOUGH!" I am writing you to let you know there are 3 coffee shops all within a block of my work. They each have a policy on refills and no one calls me out and encourages this type of embarrassment of their patrons. Today will be my last cup at Caribou.
