Great cafe with plenty of seating and ample parking. Coffee is wonderful. Food is mostly sandwiches and baked goods. Weekend brunch they even have omelets! Service is quick and friendly.
Their authentic Baltimore coffees are my favourite. Whenever, I travel to Baltimore, this is one the best coffee places to hangout with friends. Try Chai Latte.
The Vietnamese coffee is the bomb... the service leaves something to be desired.
Staff was extremely friendly and service was quick! Nice hot cappuccino and the tables set up outside added the perfect atmosphere to enjoy the sunshine with a perfect drink ☀️☕
Zeke's relocated a few blocks away from its original store on Harford Road and is now housed in a much roomier space. Initially it seemed too big, but so many neighbors have started meeting there and using the facility (a la Starbucks) that it now feels just right. Zeke's (which roasts its own beans) offers a wide variety of excellent coffee products and a very decent bakery/breakfast sandwich/lite fare menu that constantly evolves with interesting specials. The great service is standard for them. They also promote local artists whose works are displayed on the walls. Zeke's is family friendly and seating arrangements accommodate individuals as well as groups. Bring your laptop (free Wi-fi) and a friend or two and stay a while. Free parking in the back with metered on street parking in the front.
I've stopped here a few times now and am consistently surprised with the high-ratings. Each-time I've gone back out of convenience, or under the assumption that the high-ratings must be justified somehow. Though I think my initial impressions were consistent with intense mediocrity. Zeke's from what I can tells brews excessively mediocre espresso drinks (in to go cups, of course), sometimes decent breakfast and lunch foods and largely older or stale pastries. The Cappuccino I ordered was pulled so quickly that I had it in my hand directly after forking over ($28 - including tip for two coffees and a breakfast sandwhich!) and was under-extracted with the foam typically over-done as is common among poorly skilled baristas. Normally I would just pass over this as I know workers are under a time-crunch to produce drinks in an otherwise stressful work environment, but there was no-line in front or behind me. The popularity of Zeke's on google reviews seems to derive from (1) a nice, open seating area with quality internet connection (2) a friendly, social atmosphere (of sorts) with people in the shop clearly socially-close to each other. (3) Non-Coffee aficionados who are used to starbucks and thus have a positive impression in relation to otherwise burned milk Drinks Thus I would consider Zeke's a nice "third-place" coffee shop as a place-to hang out in and work or relax, but I wouldn't assume anything like the coffee you might get from Los Suenos or Onedo (or ceremony at that matter) in the city.
O drive a long way to buy this coffee. The best I've had.
Pshh I don't even need to say much about this place. They are absolutely fantastic from coffe to food for all times of the day and some of the best baked goods ever. Their menu is always creative and dynamic too. I can't stay away when I am in town.
Good food and great coffee. The coffee is better than most coffee shops that have similar prices. It's a great place to meet and sit with friends, since there is plenty of space and it never gets too loud.
I can honestly say that I will never patronize this establishment again. This morning, while standing in line, I observed one of the staff members audibly sneeze/cough into his hand. It was so loud that many people, including his coworkers, looked at him as he somewhat looked embarrassed. Instead of doing the next logical and hygienic act of washing his hands, he then proceeded to grab a customer's food/beverage item with the same dirty hands. None of his coworkers corrected him or apologized to the customer for that employee's unsanitary acts. I was disgusted and walked out as did another customer who had not yet placed their order. There is no excuse for this staff member's neglectful and harmful behavior in a dining facility. I wish I could give a zero star rating. DO BETTER!
This was my first time at Zeke's and I understand why it is such an institution! Top quality, delicious food and drinks, amazing atmosphere and a friendly staff. I'll be back time and time again.
Love !!! this neighborhood gem 🙌🏽 always get the ice chai latte for my son and I . We love the fresh donuts, bagels sandwiches, and OMG!!!! Mouth watering scones vegetarian blueberry ones. A must try spot coffee is so good we love it all. Atmosphere is always on point so polite always. So much yet to try... Oh and you get coupons yessss!!! they have a point system that turns your points into discount on your future orders yessss!!!
Fabulous coffee, great beans for purchase, and delicious baked goods. The Hai-Hon coffee is my husband’s favorite roast.
Good coffee, friendly staff, but old dried out cheesecake should have been tossed and not sold.

Great space & atmosphere. They don't have coconut milk, a little disappointing. I don't like Oat milk or Almond. Parking is challenging

Great spot. Awesome coffee, fantastic people. Great place to get a little work done or catch up with friends while enjoying one of their special drinks and some top notch food. Grab a bag to go!
