Delicious and inclusive coffee shop with some pastries and teas as well. Loved the nitro cold brew and the croissant bagel!

Highly recommend! I really enjoy their specialty drinks, baked goods, and breakfast sammies. The owner and staff are all consistently friendly and provide great customer service. They have a window that opens at 8am before the indoor counter opens at 9am (when OpenWorks opens) which is great and it's nice to have the option to sit either indoors or outdoors while enjoying my food and coffee.

My coworkers and I come to this place almost everyday. The seasonal latte is absolutely delicious and the staff is extremely friendly. 10/10 would recommend to a friend (or stranger) 😍

They wouldn’t give me a cup of water, which is fine, but they wouldn’t even give me an empty cup to get water from the fountain. Not impressed.

Black Acres roastery has incredible espresso. It’s always smooth, balanced and the right touch of sweetness for those specialty drinks.

The rosemary/cheddar biscuits are the best biscuits I've ever had! Chai was to my liking, excited to try more from their menu.

I have visitors the Lexington Market location. It is in the upper part of the market near the front. The employees were so inviting and knowledgeable about making “fancy coffees” but also about just brewing a delicious group of coffee. I will be a regular, this is a great location for a work break!

I adore Black Acres Roastery. I've been ordering their beans for.... must be 3 years now?, with local delivery, and it's always a joy. The coffee is high quality and delicious, and being able to support a local business makes it even better. I recently went to their spot at R House, and Matt made me.... SOME kind of breakfast sandwich, with mushrooms and spinach, and it was absolutely delicious, as was the Marrakesh Morning drink. Absolutely perfect on a way-too-hot day.

I have been going to their pop-up stall at R House in Remington almost every weekday for months now while I work in the mornings. All of their staff is very friendly and helpful, providing good recommendations for beverages and food. Not being a coffee drinker myself, I can't attest to the quality of the coffee specifically, but their other beverage options (including the London Fog on a nitro tap!!) are impeccable, and their food is excellent, so I can only imagine the coffee is of similar quality. Combine that with the always friendly service (shout outs to Matt and Nora for making me feel like a friend), and this is a place you can't miss.

I consider myself a breakfast expert, having eaten it with relative consistency for the past 30 years (in addition to 3 years managing a breakfast restaurant, but that's less relevant). The Remington sandwich was the best breakfast sandwich I've EVER eaten. The warm, flaky challah bread, the spicy aioli with just the right amount of a kick, and the fresh sausage and eggs came together to make a magical experience with every bite. I can't imagine ever eating another breakfast sandwich from anywhere else, or if I am forced to, I know that it will not bring me the same joy that I was blessed with this morning. Now let's talk coffee. Yuzu and Coffee. Genius. I get weird looks from all of my family and friends for my coffee orders, but I received validation today in the form of the Yuzu Cold Brew Soda. The citrus from the Yuzu brings a refreshing jolt to the chocolatey cold brew coffee, and then they add in the soda for that last bit of bite that I didn't know I wanted but I now know that I needed. Bottom Line: If you're in Baltimore, Black Acres Roastery in R house is THE BEST place to wake up with. If you're not in Baltimore, then come here just to experience it. Note: I only got a photo of the coffee; I was unable to stop eating the sandwich long enough to take a picture of it.

Had a great experience at R House. The Remington sandwich was great and my wife loved the oat milk latte. We also love getting their Seya blend delivered every couple of weeks. Definitely the coffee spot to hit up!

Had coffee here once. Feels like by chance. It wasn’t bad. However: This place is never open and let’s face it, a coffee place that doesn’t open until 10? Lol They aren’t even open for the entire time openworks is open…. I dunno. Weak coffee spot. Very disappointed.

If you’re an espresso drinker, do yourself a favour a buy a bag (or bags) of their espresso blend. Beans grind well and get a consistent creamy and smooth espresso. Highly recommend! They might end up being my goto espresso bag in Baltimore.

Just hit the Black Acres location at R House. I came literally 15 minutes after they closed, but they still did me a solid and sold me a can of their nitro cold brew, which is absolutely delicious. They also tossed in, for no charge, the most incredible sweet roll I've ever had in my entire life. 100/100 will come again (during regular business hours, I promise). Thank you.

I'm so happy Black Acres is here at Open Works! Excellent service, great coffee - lavender, vanilla latte is tasting and soothing, especially when it's paired with their frittata breakfast sandwich, with maple bacon and freshly baked English muffin (everything) ---- EPIC!!! I highly recommend this hip and modern coffee shop for those who want to be in a well lite creative space. The shop is right off Greenmount inside of the orange and white Open Works building. Park in visitors spot at the building or there's street parking on Greenmount and I felt very secure in the neighborhood.
