Just another pretentious yuppie deli selling $15 roast beef sandwiches with a single slice of meat on it….yum🙄
Tasty sandwiches and salads. Great selection of wine and local brews (on tap). The service was friendly and surprisingly fast considering how busy they were with locals as well as passengers waiting to board a small cruise ship departing that evening.
The Navis Cafe is how we began most days while in Portland, staying at the new Cambria Hotel. When a day turned a bit too chilly, we even closed off our day with one more cup of delicious coffee at Navis! Their fresh pastries are the perfect sustenance to get you going! Homemade Greek yogurt cups (with fresh berries and granola) added a little more sustenance as my choice to get going into a full day of Portland’s life! Their menu and stocked fridges offered even more though. Once, we just sat outside to enjoy the views from their deck tables adorned with little vases of miniature carnations! All this with seagulls sweeping overhead while watching ferries come and go in the port. Even in San Francisco, I’ve never sat at a cafe with such beauty to “drink in” while enjoying a superb cappuccino! Thank you everyone at Navis Cafe!
Amazing service. Great sandwich with some great views if you sit outside or near the window inside! The sourdough bread is well toasted and really awesome for The Bow sandwich. my wife said that her clam chowder was delicious and you could actually SEE the clams with every spoonful!
This cafe is wonderful! It’s become our coffee stop on our weekly Eastern Prom loop. The coffee is delicious and the treats are lovely. The staff is accommodating and always gives us a little bag to carry our baked goods back to the homestead. Always look forward to visiting!
Tucked away on commercial street, fantastic location for a quiet cup of coffee and a pastry. Very friendly staff and reasonable prices.

What a great find this time visiting Portland. Navis Cafe was recommended to us while staying at a new hotel. Quaint, perfect size menu and ideal for breakfast on the go, or a quiet place to enjoy a light meal that won’t weigh you down before getting out and enjoying the day. Service was great, everything was made to order and the place is impeccably clean. Locals and visitors alike patron Navis Cafe so you know it’s good!
We had such a wonderful experience here! The peanut butter cookie and cinnamon roll were to die for. Definitely worth a stop when visiting Portland. The team here was super friendly and made the atmosphere feel so comfortable and inviting. 10/10
Open during the snowstorm! Starting to appreciate this place more and more each time. Mallory is very patient and efficient! And the coffee is way better than a lot of other places.

Food sounds good, looks good but quality and freshness is questionable. It's a small, more of a take out place where the food is likely prepared way in advance. Quiet with a nice view .

Today at Navis I ordered the soup and a draft latte. The soup was different than what was listed on the sign which is fine but I did not know until I took my food to work to eat and realized it was different than what I ordered. The soup was also cold and I only walked five minutes to eat it. I also ordered the draft latte and it was all foam.
I expected this place to have more coffee options and was pretty disappointed. I guess I should review a place on what they have vs what I wanted them to have. But I really just went there for coffee, lol. The young lady at the counter saved the whole experience because she was so darn sweet and genuine. The menu looked decent, maybe I'll try it again and get some food. It was very clean and fairly busy when I went. It's worth another shot, for sure.
