The place for unique and stylish home furnishings! And great service!
Barbara was wonderful. Talked to 2 other sales people who were helpful, but definitely felt as though perhaps we weren't a big customer for them. Barbara was codultative, friendly, knowledge, and went out of her way to help.
I came to HR intending to spend quite a few thousand on a range of services & products as they were highly recommended and I wanted to rely on someone to take care of it all while I was out of state. When they visited my home, I soon noticed the patronizing opinions offered and was baffled when the proprietor and her assistant burst into laughter the instant they stepped out of my house. In spite of this I gave them additional chances. What I found out over time was that some of their prices were quite reasonable, and others were sky-high compared with competition easily found online or with smaller fabricators. Each meeting, I got unsought opinions that showed super-common taste or were technically specious but were nonetheless strongly delivered. It takes acting skill to remain cordial when hearing design views from a woman who does a poor job on her own personal appearance. Disgusted, I made it my goal to spend my money elsewhere even tho that path took more work. I am delighted with my results of working with a range of other decor sources and fabricators particularly The Curtainshop. The latter company gave me fact-based, even technical insight to options (which I like, having been skilled in fabric construction myself). It was respectful. Reasonable prices, lots of flexibility and Zero Attitude.
I am pretty picky as I am an interior designer, and the quality + style + service is impeccable. I adore Home Remedies!
Home Remedies did a beautiful job reupholstering our side chair. Kelsey was really easy to work with--she listened to our concerns and ideas and gave us suggestions which helped us make a decision. She was also very clear with process, timelines, and price. They did a beautiful job! Our chair is so much better than we had hoped.
