Looking for quick bite and your afternoon coffee? Check out Red Cup! I had the Parrot: Fresh sliced turkey, avocado, cucumber, & cheddar cheese served on home made sourdough bread with maple mustard. The combination of maple mustard and avocado was *-:=3 (chef's kiss). Paired the sandwich with a cup of their cold brew and I couldn't have been happier. Definitely will make a second stop this trip.

If your nearby this is the place to stop for a satisfying cup of coffee. Made to order with a variety of flavors. Making this my morning stop.

I ordered a breakfast burrito and a black coffee and it came out to over $15. Yikes! The burrito was not good at all, and the coffee was watered down. The service was also very slow.

Great lattes, had pumpkin spice and white mocha. Yummmm! The espresso roast they use is delicious. And they do those cute hearts and designs in the foam. Very friendly baristas. The atmosphere is comfy, cozy, and authentic (not commercial at all). They have soy milk and other alternatives which are key if you are lactose intolerant or vegan. I didn't try the food but they have some nice options that looked delicious, and the other patrons were raving about the tastiness. I went there every day I was in Boothbay and looked forward to my morning latte! I visit lots of coffee shops, and this is a great one, don't hesitate.

We were in Boothbay for a getaway and we are so grateful we discovered this gem on the first day. We then proceeded to come here for four days in a row. Truly some of the BEST coffee we’ve had in years. The pastries and grilled cheese are also to die for. I’ll be dreaming of this coffee until I get it again next time!

Great coffee, but a tad expensive. Fairly normal for this area. Opted for this coffee shop instead of their competitor next door due to the competitors politically motivated flag.

Simply put, Red Cup was amazing, everything you’d need in one place. The coffee options are great. I had a couple of Dirty Chai‘s and they were really good and consistent. The pastry options were phenomenal, I highly recommend the cinnamon roll with berries. The service was personable and the folks there were super polite. Sandwiches were fresh, local, and portioned well. Definitely making a stop every time I visit Maine. Highly recommended.

Must've went on a bad day based on all the other reviews. Price was astronomical, which would be fine if the food was top notch. Coffee was no better than a regular gas station. Breakfast sandwich was good, but to pay $12 for a sausage egg and cheese where you can't even eat inside is absurd. Save 75% on the exact same food by going to the Vietnamese bakery 3 minutes away.

Very tasty sandwiches on offer and a limited selection of high quality pastries and cookies. No inside dining available but there are tables and benches available nearby.

Fantastic coffee, the sausage and egg sandwhich I got and the breakfast burrito my husband got were both delicious. It was a little more expensive than what we would usually want to spend on a small breakfast, but it overall was a great experience and we do plan on going back to treat ourselves occasionally.

The BEST blueberry muffins in the world!! I know that may sound like a bit of an exaggeration but I do not like any cooked fruits and this is the one cooked fruit muffin I will eat. We bought 8 muffins and inhaled them in one morning. I wish they were around when my husband and I got married in Boothbay Harbor in 2016! We would’ve definitely used them for breakfast. I look forward to our next visit.

Terrific place for breakfast. Quick and friendly service. Great coffee and great selection (i.e. breakfast sandwiches, NY bagels and homemade pastries). Conveniently location to all lodgings in Boothbay Harbor.

We stayed at a hotel across the street. The Red Cup opens early and there are already people waiting for them to open. We had an egg and sausage sandwich, blueberry muffin, a cookie that were all outstanding. The coffee is fantastic. The service and friendliness of the staff is appreciated, they do a great job and I recommend The Red Cup for breakfast or lunch. It is window service and take out only but there are plenty of places to sit and enjoy Boothbay Harbor.
