The best corned beef hash I have ever ate! Blueberry pancakes also perfect. Great view, friendly staff
If we could give 6 stars we would. We were in on the very last day of the season.. They had volunteers helping as summer staff had already left for year. The entire meal & the experience was so awesome it's unreal. The owner is a true type Mainer that's a riot/original. A true & total gem of a place that we 100% will be returning to later this year.
My husband and I really enjoyed our breakfast here. We sat outside by the water and it was great. I got the salmon bagel with locks and my husband got the breakfast burrito with the cappuccino. We both liked our food and coffee and it was just a fun little place to enjoy the morning. Note: I would get here early if you want to sit outside by the water.

We highly recommend breakfast on the deck. The blueberry pancakes and blueberry muffins are incredibly good!!! The entire crew were very friendly and courteous.
This place had delicious food!! Try the veggie bake or the pancakes. Both were delicious, the views of the harbor are fantastic and the staff was so friendly.
Awesome breakfast place in the harbor. They have a lovely covered outside area where you can dine by the water. There was a little wait to order but not bad. I got the pecan crisp French toast and my husband got an omelette. For drinks we both ordered spiked coffees. Both the meals and the coffee were delicious! The owners were very nice also. Everything was reasonably priced. Would definitely go back.
This is the perfect Maine Experience. Locally owned and operated, this is the place to Be. Whether local or traveler, there is something for everyone. Food is hot, service comes with a smile, and everything else is up to you. I highly recommend this stop in Boothbay, Maine.

We got here a tad too late to enjoy breakfast (ends at 11 am). No big deal- we were just as excited to have lunch instead! I'm a classic rueben lover and was amazed at how much I loved the haddock rueben. It came with chips and some slaw, which was really well done and obviously made in house.
The blueberry pancakes are yummy! Great service - they were able to take 8 of us with little notice. Highly recommend!
This place is a hidden gem! Fast service, delicious blueberry muffins, omelets, and pancakes. And the view is spectacular!
Best cornbeef hash breakfast I have a had in a long time.
A local favorite. The line for breakfast forms a little past 7. Cafe opens at 7:30. It's an interesting setup. You get up to the counter and order and pay. Grab a number and a server brings it to your table. The breakfast sandwich, bacon, egg and cheese on an English muffin was average. BUT the blueberry pancakes came as 3 good sized cakes and real maple syrup. Lots of Maine blueberries in each. Inside has only a handful of tables that face the bay. A few more on the deck also face the water. Else you can sit on the street side.

Underwhelmed by staff - they were more preoccupied with kissing their boyfriend who came to visit … * added after response from owner What an unprofessional and childlike response to my honest review and multiple other diners’ reviews. What a sad way to conduct and manage a business . If you act like this to the people who give you business , I completely understand why the staff was so disappointing - it’s a reflection of weak leadership .
My wife said she had the best blueberry muffin ever here. My omelet was also delicious. Great start to the day.
I ate breakfast at this place every morning while I was in Boothbay. It was That good! I was having to eat gluten free on this trip and the GF pecan crusted French toast was my go-to with a side of scrambled eggs w/spinach. The views of the harbor are unbeatable on the outside patio. Also, family owned and run by a great group of folks!
My partner and I visited blue moon cafe and were amazed at not only the quality of food, but also the service. We had the lobster roll and blueberry pie for dessert. This is easily one of, if not the best meal we’ve ever eaten. I cannot recommend this place enough! Such a warm and welcoming environment!
Blue Moon Cafe is the place to go for a great breakfast and warm hospitality. The people there work very hard so please be patient and kind. They deserve it. You can also get free coffee refills and enjoy two outdoor seating areas. Ask the owner about her ice skating career. She is awesome. Thank you for a great experience. PS you can board the ferry to a Monhegan Island right next door⛵️
