Z’otz is such a cool, bohemian, funky cafe. With many sectioned areas for seating, it’s a nice sized private coffee house. The staff is always welcoming and speedy, and the way they can dial in an espresso! Great decor, too.

Was bringing them more business and they wouldn't let us in because we were carrying take out in a bag...

This is the story of my experience in 2022. My friend spoke highly of this place, and so we traveled across the state to go visit. Upon entering the establishment, the man at the counter asked my friend and I for our papers. No joke, his words. I kind of giggled because I thought he was joking. My friend pulled his out, and I said “and yours sir?” The man looked at me crossly, and said “No vaccine papers, no service. Please leave.” I had been to multiple other great places to eat earlier in the day that were not asking for proof of vaccination status, and this man offered no alternative like ordering to go instead and just not dining inside. My friend tried to order coffee for me instead, and since we traveled this far I got it anyway, but I felt like I was treated like a second class citizen all over again. The man was rude, unyielding, and not customer friendly. I was only allowed to stand on the street corner and be served coffee by someone else. I hated how I felt, and I can’t shake that feeling. I will never return to this business. Lastly, the coffee was okay, not really worth the cost.

This is a terrific coffee shop. My co-guests all ordered teas, but the Zombie is a coffe lover's dream! There is a library and selection of games available, too (so fun!). The service was absolutely lovely, but very slow with a single barista - otherwise, a five-star visit.

I wrote my senior thesis in the backroom of this local gem. On the table someone had written Russian curses which was the perfect vibe for crushing out 12000 words. The drinks are all great. The staff is friendly without being obtrusive, and I'll always be convinced I got published because this was my main writing spot.

Z’otz is great and conveniently located by one of my favourite book stores (Blue Cypress) :-)

Phenomenal coffee, rad baristas, and owners who really care about the community. Also orders in local rocking pastries. I've been coming here since high school: a mainstay of Oak St.

Coffee is always delicious. The place is relaxed and interesting. Prices are suuuuuper reasonable as well. My favorite black iced americano - and if you’re into Lavender lattes they make a damn good one

Great space to sit at for a bit to do work. Plenty of outlets and power strips. Three rooms with a mixture of furniture/tables. The signage around the counter is excellent and helpful. For example, if you'd like to fix your drink to your liking, a sign tells you to step to the left to do so! If you are at all like me, and are a little panicked in a new space when you don't know the vibe yet, fear not. You'll be just fine.
