Facility was clean, staff was kind but the coffee is terrible. There was a gentleman trying to add things to his drink to make it better and said "whatever you do, don't get the nitro, it's horrible". I assumed he just wasn't familiar with what drinks to order, but when I got my iced latte, it was gross. Not very strong flavored and pretty watery. I am an avid coffee drinker and have my own at-home espresso machine. Not good. Aside from the taste of the coffee, it was a pretty cool atmosphere. Nice furniture and decor and clean.
Pjs is usually great but last Tuesday they took my order and I stood there for 20 minutes waiting for my order while they made everyone else’s who ordered after me. The girl who took my order looked over at me multiple times throughout the 20 minutes so I kept thinking she was about to make my drink but she never did, when I finally got my drink it was the wrong drink but I had no time to ask for it to be fixed because I was already late for school. I know I should have said something to them earlier but I shouldn’t of had to say anything in the first place

Poor customer service. Accidentally sent mobile order to wrong location (they have 2 on 59) and they wouldn’t accommodate even though I showed them my receipt that I had already paid. They told me I could drive to the other location and deal with them for a refund.
One of my favorite locations! Food and drink is always good but the management and crew are so incredibly nice! I love the beignets!
I've been a loyal customer here (Dove Park location) for years. However, the quality of service seems to vary and is very inconsistent the last year or so. The employees never really seem like they're in a good mood or enjoy what they're doing, the food quality is inconsistent as well as the coffee. Cleanliness is also rather noticeable as the location being dirty is an often occurrence (the black leather chair area mainly). They have some super-duper oven that for some reason either makes the food scolding hot or cold by the time you get to your seat. I had a scone today that was cold on the right, warm on the left, and felt as though it wasn't cooked fully (this happens often as well). Pastries seem doughy in the center (muffins and scones). Sometimes the granita looks like chocolate milk; sometimes it looks like it has no mocha at all. Perhaps quality or training needs to improve. I'm never one to post something like this but it makes it hard trying to remain loyal when the business can't deliver. However, the Hwy 22 location is fantastic.
They are charging more then other PJ Coffee place and if you tell them something they will tell you not to come back again. There serves is horrible they are always rude. Every since they changed staff ... In this location a iced coffee is 4.36 and sometimes they even charge me 5:36 others is 3:36
This location is close to where I work, so I stop here at least once a week. I have always gotten excellent service and enjoy my lattes and the occasional pastry. I am not leaving 5 stars only because items are not available at every store. I feel if you are part of a franchise, each store should carry the same thing. For example, I love lavender lattes but can't get one at this location, where I come to the most. I have to go out of my way to another location to get one. Also, this location doesn't carry cappuccino muffins, so again, have to find another location to get one. Please be consistent with items across the board.
Fabulous atmosphere, very kind and helpful servers, great beverages and sweets, and LOTS of space! I was thrilled that I had no problem finding somewhere to sit, and even had room to spread out my crocheting stuff with my friend, and still had plenty of empty spots around us. Other patrons seemed like 'regulars', and were kind and friendly, as well. Overall, I would pick this place for a meetup with my friends any day!!
Update 1/21/23: I just left this location, and I must say that lots of improvements have been made. 1st off all the machines are working including the contactless payment machines. They seem to now have the full menu, which was a much needed change. If I have any gripe to put in this review I would need that say they need to stop putting Large sandwiches and small bags.
Great atmosphere, customer service exceeded my expectations and the entire interior was very clean. I suggest everyone visit PJ's if you are in Mandeville, LA.

I went through the drive up. The person at the window taking orders was very impatient and snippy.
Friendly but up scale. The coffee was insanely good and much better atmosphere than some other coffee shops.

Very nice quickly growing coffee chain. Server in this one was particularly nice. Great coffee and I had a cake ball that was the most delicious by far. Almost like soft cookie dough inside
This place is amazing. Very respectful and hard working people. Also the respect they have for local the Law-enforcement (me being one of them) is the best. Highly recommend this place for anyone who’s local or just passing through!
Service was great but the nitro brew was terrible. Very strong and bitter.
