French roast coffee was very weak, lukewarm and the cream was curdled.

I went to this business for my 55 birthday breakfast. When I entered the restaurant I was confused as to where to go, how to order and in general of the layout. There was a women behind the counter that was the first person I saw. She was talking to another employee about how to place product out for display. After waiting, I finally asked if she could take my order. She rudely told me no and told me to go to the other end of the restaurant. I was treated there by a great friendly young lady who took my breakfast order. When I told her I wanted to also order some drinks, chai tea latte and a coffee she directed me back to the other lady. I again stood and waited, she finally said what do you want. I asked for two drinks snd she told me I had to go back to the other end again. She was rude as could be. I also wanted to purchase pastries from the case. I then went back to the young lady and expressed my frustration. I had already paid for my meals only to be told they were out of what I wanted and to pick something else. My wife and I had another wonderful lady State that she was sorry forgot how we were treated and said “she does that all the time and won’t even talk to me” pertaining to the rude lady. She then told us she would get a manager. The manager came right out and was very friendly and apologetic. She then asked what we wanted and I told him I wanted some coffee beverages and some pastries. He then insisted on giving us pastries for free which I did not want as I was more than happy to pay for them. He told me they had other complaints about the lady. Another staff member then made the comment that she was rude to everybody. The food was pretty good but we definitely will never go back. When other staff members of a business and customers make complaints about an employee it’s time for that employee to go. She was the first person seen in the restaurant and therefore was the first interaction and she should not be in customer service. I would give

I like the atmosphere of a open air Cafe, especially if it's not out in the open. Their freshly baked cakes, bread and desserts are great. I'm just more of a Italian or Chinese or Japanese hibachi kind of guy. My wife loves it, and has to have it at once a month.

This place was really nice. Convenient location in Mandeville. And probably the best croissant I've ever had.

This place has potential, in my opinion; unfortunately, it is not being lived up to. The dining room is not kept clean, they appear to be short-staffed (which I do not want to hold against a place), it just took maybe seven minutes to place an order for myself. Part of the reason for that was that a couple of customers had an issue with their orders. My order was placed at 12:18, then half of the order was brought, about 16 minutes later with part of it being incorrect. I also ordered a crêpe and admit that the silverware is self-serve, but the server did not notice/offer to grab it for me. The bacon that was brought was barely warm, more like room temperature. The crêpe is advertised as strawberry Nutella, but I don’t think there was any Nutella in it, rather chocolate sauce. Just a frustrating experience and not worth the value…but I think it could be there.

Not happy. Ordered a tart and guess they were out bc they just put 2 tiny ones instead— not ok. Got cheap off brand water when you pay for Dasani and the kid’s sandwich looked like it got run over and then flung into bag. The lady working to go area always looks and acts MISERABLE. Not good at all today.

My husband went there today about 11:00am, we each ordered a half sandwich and a bowl of soup. We got our cups for drinks and our soup with a number for the table to get our sandwiches when ready. We sat there watching everyone around us get there food. We went to the counter and asked where was our food. They argued amongst their self to find out no one fixed our sandwiches. They said it would be right out. Then another table got their food. Mad as can be we went to the counter and cancelled the rest our of our order. Please if you eat here check on your food every few minutes to see if they forgot your order.

This location is a dismal shell of the once-bustling yet cozy La Mad I spent many lunches enjoying. The last few years have been a gradual slope downward with what seems to be staff shortages and deteriorating food quality. For a long time I would go in and the front bar would be fully stocked with the day's offerings of salads and hot quick picks; the last time I went in there were two potato galettes and one sad tired quiche. I was the only person inside from 8 til 9 am. While the staff does seem to have something of a revolving door, everyone I've spoken with over the years has always been pleasant. It's sad to see this restaurant going downhill knowing what it is capable of being. With the food, it's possible that quality could have deteriorated during the pandemic and the corporate brand should address this if so. I'm not sure what the franchisee can to do to save this restaurant - hiring, firing, addressing the food, whatever - but I hope they are able to do something in time so we don't lose the only pseudo-decent kinda-Frenchish quick serve restaurant around here.

The soda didn't have enough syrup, the grilled cheese was barely toasted with somewhat melted cheese, overpriced, gets an extra star because at least the service was good and the scenery was clean and tidy

We went today on November 11th, 2022. Marvelous. Fresh green onion and chicken and spinach Omelette for lunch. Side of fresh cold melon and berries. Such a friendly staff. Fun and like a cafeteria. The wait area that the menu is in and the hoards so people standing around waiting to figure out what to order us a bit much sometime. The food is good.

Food was brought out and they forgot the country potato soup and the single shot of espresso. The server proceeded to ask if the espresso was hot or iced- an iced shot of espresso does not exist. The soup was brought out cold, the espresso plate was not cleaned, and, to top it off, on the plate was a live baby roach. Appetite was instantly ruined.

I had honestly never had it before today and got something after my coworkers said how good it was. We got delivery and the food was all still the perfect temperatures. The soup was to die for and the pasta salad is my new favorite. Everything we ordered was absolutely fantastic. 10/10 will go again.
