It’s a very nice place specially the outdoor area. Had their cafe du lait on the second visit. It was good.

A nice enough place to sit. Service was fine. This should go without saying in a cafe review, but a cappuccino is roughly equal parts espresso, steamed milk and foamed milk, 5-6 ounces total assuming a single shot. The cap I got was a single shot in a 12oz beverage making it a mug of milk with a bit of coffee. I wish I could weigh in on the quality of the coffee, but I couldn't tell much about it in that milk bath.

My favorite coffee shop in Baton Rouge! I love that everyone in the neighborhood hangs out here. Since moving here, my daily visit has helped me meet a number of neighbors that I wouldn't have met otherwise. Highly recommend everything they have, but the Granita in the summer is a real treat!

Neighborhood coffee shop where you can see people visiting over good coffee, reading the paper or a book. Dog friendly outside that is like an oasis! Friendly service and nice pastries.

First thing I notice walking in , is a FLY on their muffins inside their pastry display . Lady at counter was not so friendly , got my iced coffee in a styrofoam cup . Taste of coffee was meh. Would def not come back in here again

Great atmosphere, comfortable place with great service! Got just a basic latte, they had various milk choices, and it was a little liquid heavy but the foam was a great texture. Their espresso is very bright, which I my favorite.

Wonderful place to go for coffee and sit outside on the patio on a good day. Very peaceful and quiet. Would recommend!

A lovely shaded patio enclosed with lattices and plants. WiFi available. Good selection of fresh scones, hamantaschen, etc. Coffee was very bitter, so maybe come here if you’re in a tea mood.

The owner is a short-sighted, rude little fellow. While waiting for my wife to show, he kicked my 6 year old and I off the patio because we had the audacity to bring beverages with us. So, we took our business to City Roots, where we happily spent $15+. Sorry, guy.

My favorite place to buy expensive brew. I think they roast their own. BTW parking is a problem. Edsellek

Today I went to the coffee shop and I saw the person before me had paid with 2 dollar bills and I ask the cashier if he was going to keep them and if not I would like to buy them. He said I do keep them but let’s do this you get one and I get one. I said fair deal. Then I ordered my coffee a white chocolate latte with six pumps of caramel and it was made perfect. I will be frequenting this coffee shop more. I am new to the area and have been trying different small owner coffee shops and have found most nice but the friendliness of this shop has won a repeat customer. And also the coffee is good.

Garden District Coffee is a quaint local coffee shop that roasts its own beans in house a s serves homemade pastries. My only complaint is that it is a bit dark for studying or reading books there, which is largely why I go to coffee shops these days.

The place is cute with the outdoor space and the service was great! It’s my neighborhood spot so I really wanted to like it, but the vanilla latte I ordered made me nearly spit it out. It was bitter. So I don’t know if something was bad like the flavoring or milk but I couldn’t drink it. I tried to sip on it on the way to work but I eventually tossed my nearly $6 drink. Which says a lot and it made me sad and frustrated cause I really needed caffeine that morning. I’m not against trying it out again but I’ll definitely try my drink before I get in my car next time just in case I have to tell them I can’t drink this and ask if they can fix it.

Usually pretty calm, inside is really clean and pretty. Out side seat is available, awesome area but lots of mosquitoes. Lots of options to chose from both meals and drinks.

I loved it here! There's an outdoor deck with an outlet for working outdoors. The bamboo wall blocks out some noise and provides some privacy. The inside is well spaced with a few comfy chairs.

This is my favorite coffee shop! They have really partially covered outside seating and cozy indoor seating. 10/10 recommend ordering a granita and trying one of their pastries.
