I come here at least every two weeka to grab a bag of beans to grind and use in my French Press. I can make enough coffee for a cup for me and my wife and pour the rest into a tumblr to sip on the rest of the day pretty much for two weeks with one bag. The quality of the coffee is worth the few extra bucks as it's the best coffee you can get in town and make at home. We also just go ahead and grab a coffee they make their if we are feeling lazy, and frankly it's better than what I can do at home. The staff are always perfect with our order and I appreciate the care they obviously take in putting the coffee together. The biscuits are also top notch with the apple butter especially. They have great gifts for coffee lovers and each French Truck has unique locally themed mugs you can collect. In my opinion the best coffee you can get in Louisiana that is consistently top notch quality.

Always great coffee, food, and a good atmosphere here. And they have some of the best locally roasted whole coffee beans in Baton Rouge!

No love in here, but the reviews said nice and friendly. The young guy who made my coffee, seems almost irritated with me. This is my first time here, but I will be back.

We were in the area and decided to stop in. My wife got a vanilla latte and I got NOLA iced coffee. We very much enjoyed our selections and will be back. I wish there was a location closer to Central.

Five stars for the coffee. The food was decent, but clearly the coffee is the star here. I got both types of cold brew to try, and went back for seconds on both!!

This is the cutest little coffee shop. The food was delicious. Especially the quinoa bowl. I ordered a peppermint mocha and it was delicious! The decor is great. It’s such a cozy fun place. Sitting on the front patio and watching BR was a great experience. I’ll definitely visit again.

It is advisable to double check your orders here. About a year ago, I ordered a decafe, and the lady behind the counter gave me a regular, she was certain it was a decaf. I was on edge all day, however I love the place and understand that things come up from time to time.

Incredible coffee. Great people. Pro Tip: Get a NOLA Iced and order it "dark".

The food and service was superb. The atmosphere was a little uncomfortable due to the open kitchen floor plan. My client's eyes were burning the entire time.

We love going to French Truck Coffee! Fantastic food and coffee, and really great, laid-back atmosphere. Good for spontaneous afternoon coffee dates, work sessions, and for bringing our pup out on the patio to enjoy brunch on the weekends. Definitely highly recommend!

The honey biscuit sandwich is one of the most interesting things I’ve ever eaten. It was so moist and a little a sweet, but incredibly crispy and for $6 it was an absolute steal. I had a vanilla latte with oat milk and thought the coffee tasted excellent. Everyone behind the counter was an absolute sweetheart to boot. I’d happily come back for another one of those sandwiches.

French truck is a nice enough place to work remotely; clean atmosphere without too much noise. I wish the coffee were better. The food is … fine. Given the lack of other places like it in the area, I am grateful it’s there. In a more competitive market I wonder if it would be able to hack it.
