Don't think Starbucks, when you walk into this Baton Rouge iconic coffee shop. Think old-time coffee shop. Friendly service, great tasting coffee. And the beignets are so delicious. Go the next time you're in the Capital City.
Beignets and cafe au lait are the best. We always go when family from out of state visit.
Visiting area and decided to stop by after checking reviews. Worse customer service experience for first timers. Black lady at window and speaker absolutely rude! Discouraged my family from pray the establishment. Lose the attitude with the public. Customer service is suppose to exceed expectations. I would never hold that tone with a stranger at a place of business especially if own or not!
The beignets, coffee, cafe Au Lait, and hot chocolate are excellent. Better than that famous place in NOLA! Service is fast and the staff is nice. They have other foods for lunch as well but I haven’t had the opportunity to try any of them.
This was good. We had the beignets, the beignet fingers, and two Cafe au laits. It was all quite good, but not something I would eat regularly. A beignet is sorta like a funnel cake, so it's not super healthy, but good on occasion. The service was quick, but you have to get your own Cafe au last, so it isn't freshly made for you.

I love this place. The beignets are so good they're addictive. The coffee is great you get a free refill when you dine in. I like the beignets better than the beignets fingers. The taste is so soft and unique it takes like sugary clouds. Yum!

Even after two decades it remains a classic must go spot for beignets in Louisiana. It’s a hidden gem in Baton Rouge and a must go place for those who like good coffee and pastries. A great indoor ambiance with lots of seating for parties big and small. Very old timey vibe and has a self serve station for the drinks. Beignets come out fresh and hot, and you can add as much powdered sugar as you need. The hot chocolate is also great. I’ve been going here for years, every time I visit Louisiana, and it’s a staple. Highly recommend!

Always a favorite! My family used to go there every time we visited Louisiana. Now that I live in Louisiana, every time I have to go to Baton Rouge for work. I take my coworkers over there, and they always love it! Absolutely best Beignet place!!
met the love of my life here when we were kids, then continued to use this as a meet up place over the years. great food and service, their hot chocolate is always the best too.
