Basic waffle with very little flavor. Bacon had an odd taste. I would not return to try anything else. I was just passing through for a church event and will not return on future visits to the area.
All I have to say is The Black lady that takes orders!! She needs to go back to Customer Service Class! Because Her Attitude Sucks!! It was my first time there And it had paper in my my shrimp and grits meal and she had the nerve to get loud ( talking about what table I was at) !! She lucky she didn't get popped that day! Everyone else was great at there job!! I appreciate y'all!! But yeah she was Ridiculous no professional bone in her body??
Love their food and service! The bananas foster French toast is perfection. Portion sizes are huge enough to be shareable or for leftovers. They should consider opening another location! I love brunch! 5/3 - Still the best breakfast in town!

Food was delicious and the atmosphere was pleasant. The only concern I had was with the price. It is a little pricey for what you get on the food side. Tea was delicious and brewed perfectly. Will return soon if not just for the tea.

OMG so I drove for an hour to come to a smaller menu than I saw online and if u like unseasoned meat and the syrup in your coffee to be the wrong flavor this is the spot for you I did not enjoy one bite ! A dog was in the dining area without a service dog vest or indication it was even a service dog .The people seemed nice but I am a bit of a foodie and this was NOT an experience I will want again
I love this place! This is my second time eating here & both times have been amazing! I appreciate that they open at 7 am so that I can go right after work. Now let’s get to the food. The shrimp & grits are DELICIOUS very cheesy & the seasoned potatoes are to die for. Everything was fresh & hot! Plus the owner actually comes around to check on you. He was even nice enough to let me try waffles while waiting fluffy and great! I’ll definitely be back again.
First of all, the gluten free waffles are delicious. I also like that they have Soy, Almond and Oat milk available for their specialty coffees. My husband ordered a cappuccino and really liked it. My latte was ok- but I found it to be bitter and watery (possibly their espresso shots are pulling too long). Anyway - their kid breakfast is perfect - it comes with mini waffles, scrambled egg, bacon and a banana. My 3 year old is really picky, but he loved it. I got the crab cake Benedict and it was really good. Portions are a little small for the price - I only got one egg and crab cake and I guess I was expecting 2. Overall, the customer service, atmosphere and taste of the food was good, so that's why they get 5 stars.
I am so happy I found this place. The gluten free waffle was soooooo good.
The food here is absolutely delicious. I had the red velvet waffle. To top it off, I reluctantly a scone to go. Scones are usually hard and dry. When I tell you this scone is amazing, whew!!!! I want to drive back through Alexandria just to eat here again.
Do yourself a favor a stop here. Quaint little coffee shop with amazing service and food!! Loved it

Absolutely delicious!! From the frappeaux coffee to the waffles and omelets. The atmosphere was so cute and vintage. Service was great as well. We will definitely return when we co.e back to visit.
If you have the patience to wait 45 minutes for your order then by all means check it out. They used the excuse they were short staffed but when I see 3 people standing around laughing, not doing anything, I don't think you can use that excuse.

The girl with the lavender hair was so nice, but the other employees were frowning and not very welcoming. The food was awesome, we got a blueberry waffle, country Benedict and steak omelet. Delicious if pricey, we ate everything with gusto. The caramel macchiato I got was very burnt tasting, I don't think that the employees know how to pull shots . I had them remake it and they didn't scald the milk the second time but the espresso was way too burnt & bitter. For a place labeled coffee shop, they need to do better. We went down the street to the new PJs to get coffee instead. The venetian tea latte we got was great.
The food is consistently excellent. I've never had a bad experience.
