Went in to get coffee this morning. Ordered two Crissa espresso drinks to be put in one cup. The barista handed me one. I said ‘I ordered two.’ His response, ‘well, you got what you paid for.’ I turned to the cashier and said, ‘Did you get my order for two?’ She turns to barista and said it should’ve been two.’ I asked ‘Do I get two?’ His response, ‘No.’ Garbage, juvenile attitude and nothing was done to get my other drink. Ya got one star cause the donuts are decent. Do better on your company culture. They are obviously not happy there.

I had the National Coffee week special drink, the Country Bumpkin. It tasted like a typical fall drink. It contained pumpkin and was a caramel and apple butter latte. There is plenty of seating inside and out, and adequate free parking near the store. The free Wi-Fi signal is strong and there are a few places to use your computer. It would be nice to have a few more places to charge your phone or laptop, though.

I’ve suspected it for a while, but today’s visit to North Lime irrefutably confirmed that I am an old lady. I’ll tell you why: when I patronize a business, I expect to feel welcomed there. Not even that they have to be Disney World-hospitable or Chick-fil-a-polite, but just a general sense that my presence is appreciated will go a long way. Today, when I stepped up to the register to order my drink, I got the same vibe as when I enter my preteen’s room to ask her to put down her phone and come unload the dishwasher. I was met with some surly monosyllabic grunts, and I felt confused about if my request was being fulfilled. I did eventually get my drink and it was delicious, but felt like it would’ve just been more enjoyable to stay home and nag my kids, because I could’ve at least kept my 6 bucks.

Not whats expected, especially for the price of DONUTS! All of them are “stale like” and not fluffy. Even the classic glaze was disappointing. Prefer to support local but will drive the extra 10 minutes to Krispy or Dunken.

The reason I am giving 3 stars is for a hygene issue I witnessed. The person assigned to donuts has gloved hands and this customer came up with what looked like her own tumbler mug from home and placed it in the workers gloved hands who was on donut station and complained about the coffee she didnt like it (employee handled well) HOWEVER I watched this employee walk around holding the customers cup and then eventually sets it down on the counter and goes back to filling donut orders WITHOUT changing her gloves. This is disgusting, no one knows what was on the cup or how clean the cup or customers hands were and she just went and served FOOD to others. Cmon we just got out of a pandemic and its flu season you should know better when working in food service. When I ordered she must've seen me watching her the entire time because before i could request for her to change her gloves for my donut order she looked at me and changed them and then grrabbed my food. The donuts are good they are firm and crunchy but i personally like that texture sometimes! I also think they have good coffee, I always get iced lattes, and they are so good not bitter or burnt tasting and the perfect balance between sweetened and coffee flavor. However, my husband always gets hot lattes and he asked me to get him an extra shot of espresso in his regular size (16oz) latte, so I did and they called it a double so that makes us wonder are they just adding more milk to the 16oz because they have to be putting only one shot in their smaller size too? Which if that is what they're doing that is disappointing.

Love North lime ONG, best espressos, best lattes, best black coffee, really it's just the time they take to actually make you a great cup of Joe. Tip your barista.

Excellent selection and friendly service. They're popular enough that they do sell out early sometimes, so get in early!

They took time to sort out a personal phone while I waited to be served.

Very cutesy place with delicious special donuts each weekend when I stop by. Make sure you get them before they sell out though because they’re literal hot cakes!

I wasn’t going leave a bad review after one past unpleasant experience but this recent experience has changed my mind. The person behind the counter wasn’t very polite and never asked me what I I wanted to order (I’m not going to assume the gender but let’s just call her a She). She just stared at me until I ordered the “specialty dozen”, then after never said a word when I paid . I received the donuts and was on my way I was dumbfounded of how rude my experience was but I just thought maybe she was having a bad day and forgot about it . When I started to bite into the donuts my mouth started to burn from the amount of salt that was poured onto these things . I tried another and another all were the same just a bunch of incredibly salty donuts . I was shocked and asked some of my family members to try them and they were disgusted by the amount of salt that was in there mouths after just one bite. The dough was no better , strong taste of vanilla extract and stale bread. North Lime Donuts is no longer my go-to donut shop.

I can never rant enough about this place. Their customer service is quick & their donuts are SOOO GOOD. I got their gf Derby donut & oh my gosh, I was in heaven. The coffee took a second to get to me, but it was during a rush, so I wasn't complaining. It was definitely well worth the wait. Keep up the good work, you guys!

There are so many great donut places in Lexington, but North Lime is the only one I’ve found to have great donuts AND great coffee! We stop nearly every time we are in Lexington, even if just passing through town. Great selection of classic drinks and donuts as well as unique flavors that rotate weekly.

Here from out of town. I like to try local coffee shops. Ordering was fast. Got an iced latte and cake donut. They were both just ok, nothing special. Coffee tasted burnt almost, not a fan

Nice place to get a little Monday morning more work done. The coffee and donuts are great! The music was a little wild & crazy this morning, but overall a good experience.
