This place is a great spot! I moved to Lexington for grad school and this quickly became my favorite coffee shop. It's cute, well maintained, and it has a ton of space. A handful of bakery items, but don't expect a full meal! I personally love the record player that they actually use to play music. I think the only things I could say against it are that it's pretty popular, which means it's usually a little loud in there. What's nice is that there are multiple rooms, so sometimes you can avoid the noisy parts if you're trying to study. I feel like I'm always struggling to find a plug, and there are a handful of plugs that don't work. And maybe it's just me, or me being there at popular times, but I find the wifi to be pretty slow, especially for a high-traffic coffee shop. I'm sure they're aware and working on that.
Great spot to relax and enjoy a quality drink and snack.
So much potential, but shoddy and very uncomfortable seating. The presentation of my beverage was nice but tasted awful. My friend's drinks were inconsistent and way too strong. I really wanted to like it. The atmosphere is on the right track, but attention to detail is lacking.
A lot of tables and space. Easy to work or rest. Well priced drinks, snacks, and desserts.
Met a client there. 1st issue: Only 1 electrical outlet we could find. Everyone was looking for them. Coffee shops are known for places where people do business, & I think it's reasonable to expect multiple outlets. After we got settled, I went to the counter to order. No one there. I finally saw a young woman on her phone & asked if I could order. I went back to our table & started our meeting. 20 minutes later I realized I never got my grilled cheese. My client said she would ask & returned w/ a hard, cold sandwich. My client said the woman was on her phone & said "I called her name." Sorry, but I think when no one is at the counter you could go find the recipient of the sandwich. No matter - even when I tried to reheat it at home later, it was terrible. Next time I'm in Lexington I'll another place for my client meeting.
Purchased Cafe Au Lait and cream cheese bagel. Staff was friendly. They replenished my coffee at no charge, very thoughtful.
The iced coffee wasn’t very good for the price. Very nice workers though.
My favorite coffee shop in Lexington, by far!!
Cozy atmosphere. A little pricey. My drink wasn't really hot, and didn't have as much flavor as I expected.
Terrific atmosphere and beverages. They were a little understaffed today.
Delicious oat milk latte! Visiting from Indiana! Thank you all! God bless 🙏🏻🙌🏻✝️
Love the coffee shop atmosphere. It’s very pretty inside. I got a regular croissant and it’s one of the best ones I’ve ever tried!! the coffee I got was honey cinnamon latte with oat milk because it was highly recommended by a few of my friends. It was OK but the cinnamon was a little overpowering. Would try something else on my next visit. A good place for studying, but I would recommend headphones.
Cool atmosphere and the food was good, but I had to wait too long on my coffee and ask them about the rest of my order 10 minutes later. They also didn't call the names on our drinks so we got it confused with another woman.
Seems like a good place to meet your friends, especially if you like coffee.
Coffee was great. Seating arrangements were extremely awkward though.
Great atmosphere and coffee!
Good coffee but the best part is the pastries! Great chocolate croissant and Russian teacake! Beautifully decorated.
Best gingerbread latte I have ever had! I love the new Chevy Chase location. The interior is beautiful.
Hands down, one of the best coffee spots in Lexington. I’ve tried them many times and they’re the best 👏 Highly recommend their Brazilian pour over coffee ☕️
Brevede is the warmest coffee shop in town I mean that in every sense of the word. The atmosphere that is created here is professional. The ladies talk to you like they are your friend, the setting gives off you are far from home but close in the heart. Some coffee shops in Lexington it just feels cold and along with clientele maybe that’s just my experience. Brevede is one of two coffee shops that are must in my morning routine and I wouldn’t have it any other way
