The food is always delightful with a nice low key vibe to the Cafe. I've eaten here 3x - each time trying a new menu item and each time being very pleased with my food! 😊 Last time I got a couple pastries as well and they were excellent!

I've always received great service during my visits to this bistro. The coffee is fantastic, as well as the food. Pricing is pretty typical for most coffee shops but still affordable. The atmosphere is quaint, tucked in the Fleming Place shopping plaza, but don't let the small exterior fool you. There is ample seating indoors and out.

Blackbird cafe is a great coffee shop/cafe! They have lots of options and great coffee! Their service is great and the employees are very kind. Their decorations are very cute and this cafe is great about being clean and well organized.

They forgot to make my drink. I sat waiting for 15-20 min before my ride got there wanting to just have a quick drink and it never came. I kept waiting thinking maybe they were just taking a minute since there were other customers and I ordered the special cocktail of the month. I approached the counter eventually and the guy suddenly realized he forgot about me. I asked for a refund and he kept apologizing in between laughing. I immediately left and waited outside for my ride instead, sans drink. Will not be returning.

Had a b-fast sandwich and it was delish!! The atmosphere is cozy - eventhough it was busy the morning I came. The line to order moved quickly and the service was great. Will definitely be going back!

Delicious gluten free sandwich options, and they normally have at least one gluten free pastry option (always tasty). Gluten friendly, gluten free.

Blackbird is a great, local café/bistro and honestly, the best place to grab coffee in Topeka. Always consistently great food and good coffee. The staff are always friendly and super helpful. The place itself is clean and comfortable. Wide doors and open space make it wheelchair accessible. It's a prominent community asset for Topeka and we are lucky to have them!

I was parched on a cold day in December driving around my customers checking on drivers I stopped in the Black Bird espresso bar and bistro had the best cuppa soup I’ve ever had in my life and a very good mocha very quiet peaceful vibrant crowd contemporary setting and I’m returning today tired craving that mocha again

They have really good IPA Beer!!!!

Blackbird definitely deserves a 10 out of 5 stars. Service, food, and atmosphere are great. The owners, Jason and Danny, even go in to help and have great attitudes themselves when they do! You can tell their employees enjoy working here too.

My coffee and wrap were both delicious. The atmosphere was relaxing and the employees were very attentive!

I stopped at the café for a light & healthy meal & was not disappointed! The Greek salad & wraps are delicious! The salad can be made vegan. Can't wait to go back!

My new favorite breakfast and coffee place!

Everything is amazing! One of my favorite soups is the one with white beans & kale. The salads and sandwiches are also always on point. I could eat here every single day!

A comfortable and friendly coffee shop. The hot chocolate was excellent, and I wanted to lick my plate after eating my cinnamon roll. The personnel were friendly and helpful. A great place to relax for a bit.

Half cup of oatmeal for $7 is way overpriced.
