I really wanted to like this place. We sat on the patio and overall the decor and feel of Newtons was so promising. First, we weren’t told the bloody Mary’s and mimosas were only available in bottomless. They tasted good and had fun toppings but it was $13 a person and not worth it. We only planned to each have one to avoid getting too tipsy before a busy day. We ordered our food, the tenderloin, the club, the grilled cheese, and the monte cristo, and everything was just so disappointing. The grilled cheese wasn’t fully melted, and we added bacon and only one piece of bacon covered half the sandwich. For the side we got Parmesan fries. They weren’t crispy and the Parmesan itself seemed like it was thrown on last minute so it couldn’t melt or stick onto the fries. The monte cristo tasted alright, but needed more mayo or mustard because it was really dry. The hash browns weren’t seasoned and the top layer was crispy but the rest was all just ehh. The tenderloin was huge and thin and breaded alright but lacked seasoning and relied on the LTO and ketchup. Overall probably won’t return but I hope it gets better with time and feedback.
Bloody Mary was so good. The food was good. Our waitress was very nice. It was my first time there and I'll be back!
We went for breakfast and it was delicious!! Staff was very friendly and service was fast. Outdoor seating was perfect too!! 😊
Went for breakfast, there were multiple boys and tables that were available for seating, the menu has shrunk to barely nothing, we used to live that place, but will look for another spot our next trip......
Short staffed, but the cooks stepped up and helped. Love seeing that. Unfortunately $6.99 for one piece of French toast on the kids meal is absolutely absurd, no sides or juice included. Guess we'll go somewhere else so the kids can get full.
They make the BEST Bloody Mary in town. Fantastic French Toast too.
Lovely place to get breakfast! The food was delicious; I do admit the service was a little slow, but overall, a great experience with the atmosphere of the restaurant being themed.
Great food and staff!!! Joined my family out for breakfast for my father's birthday at the beginning of March. My grandmother's food came out cold, and they took the food back and made her fresh biscuits/gravy. The service was great. A waitress was so sweet as she appeared to adore my 98 year old grandma that was with us. The waitress gave my grandmother a gift card for her to come back sometime to celebrate her 99th bday at the restaurant. My family will for sure return !!!
Huge portions. The food was good, and service was fast and friendly. Parking can be a struggle.
Great experience all around. We will be back for sure!
Our waitress was absolutely amazing! The food was fantastic and was very reasonably priced
I had the omelet with sausage & ham & it was delicious! Always great food!
A lot of our meal was over cooked. The homemade sausage was not good.
Food is delicious. Big portions, tons of options, and reasonably priced. They have the best hot chocolate I have had so far.
Went to Newtons Cafe with my Mom and had the Rueben sandwiches and Parmigiano Garlic fries. Absolutely delicious 😋 We'll be back for more of their food. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
First time eating here. Delicious food & friendly help! We will be back!
What a gem. Traveling through Iowa and found this great restaurant. we had the tenderloin sandwich....I have never seen a sandwich this large and GOOD!!! Tender and flavorful. Others had burger and French toast. (They serve breakfast all day also).
I eat there all the time. The staff are great and so is my country fried steak..!
Newton's Paradise Cafe could be better. It was the first time we tried it. The Pork Tenderloin was huge, it had no fat, however, it had Blanko Bread Crumbs and didn't have no seasoning, it tasted bland. For $14.00 for a tenderloin it needs to have flavor. The French Fries were kinda hard. The pancakes were huge and tasty but $12.00 for pancakes? This will be a one time try for Newton's Paradise Cafe for us.
Amazing food and very fast service. The tenderloin was the size of the plate. My Aunt had their impossible burger and she said that was the best she's ever had!
