It was the best lunch I have had in a long time. The chicken bacon ranch was phenomenal and their cheese cake was the best dessert I have ever had!!

Definitely one of our favorite places to go. We drive two hours to meet our kids for an amazing home cooked meal. The food is delicious and made with fresh ingredients, Jennifer the owner does all the cooking and prepares everything by scratch. The customer service provided by Jessica is rare and delivered with a great sense of humor. The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly. I cannot say enough good things about our new found little gem in Iowa.
Great spot! Loaded Hashbrowns should have you good until Dinner! If you're lucky they should have some fresh cinnamon rolls with cream cheese icing on top! Amazing

The best thing about Bean and Bistro is it’s owner Jen. She’s one of the most caring people I’ve met!!! She always says “A lotta love goes into every cup!” I love how she doesn’t mind making sure I get my perfectly customized drink. She wants to make sure she got it just right every time! Her salads are delicious with lots of fresh leafy greens and the hot sandwiches are all good. Love the grilled cheese and the club. I’m a big fan of the back patio area with all her beautiful flowers and furniture plus the wall mural with the phrase “Friends Gather Here” really sets the right vibe. She’s got a nice loyalty card program too. (And she does catering and has an airBnB above!) almost forgot to mention the cinnamon rolls with cheesecake frosting. A little non-traditional but it totally works! They’re so yummy.

Was traveling thru and stopped for latte. She was awesome at helping us decide what to get for drinks and sold us on the wonderful cinnamon roll. Would drive back there anyway.

The lattes, cinnamon rolls, and the lunch special burger were all so delicious! The space is adorable and the customer service was amazing. I can't wait to come back!

The staff was very friendly and easy to talk to. They had amazing customer service a long with amazing food, so much that I couldn’t finish! The environment is so welcoming and comfortable it just makes me smile looking at the family photos from other families eating here! I love it!
Recently had an outage at a substation near Northwood, Iowa. Fed about 20 people. Food was catered by Bean and Bistro for 3 days. Every meal was fantastic and showed up hot. Delivery was no charge. Would highly recommend this establishment for anyone catering or, for a sit down in their restaurant. Great food and very reasonably priced!
Amazing food and friendly people. Do need some blinds for when the sun is out.
