A great, close to campus college eatery, coffee shop, meeting up place, and place to study.
The service was speedy and considerate. Very warm and welcoming atmosphere. I'm definitely coming back.
Excellent coffee, tasty chai tea lattes, and the service is always great and fast. Overall top notch coffee place.
Out of this world! 🚀🚀🚀
I’ve heard lovely things about this cafe, but I was unimpressed. Food options are limited, especially if you are vegetarian. Vegan options are non existent. The chalk board said to inquire at the counter for an extended menu, and the gentleman working said that there were no additional menus. For the food that was on the menu, they were out of multiple things. I ended up getting a bagel with plain cream cheese - not sure where they sourced from but it was actually decent, probably the highlight of my visit. I paid almost $5 for a cappuccino - it was only slightly bigger than a cup that would hold an expresso shot. That was the most insulting to me. There was no atmosphere whatsoever - no music playing or anything. Napkins on the floor, chairs and tables askew. The bathrooms were filthy. I’m glad to say I’ve tried it, but I won’t be returning.
Wandered in here on a trip to Des Moines and really enjoyed my latte - pastry was a little dry, but everything was inexpensive and the staff was friendly.
By far the best coffee in Des Moines. Quality only matched by Daisy Chain, which is another great joint.
Love the macchiato here. I just wish it were a place to enjoy one after a long day's work. Any suggestions where to drink coffee in Des Moines after 5pm?
New owners have really stepped up thoughtful seasonal menus and the service is great. My current favorite is the Scorpio, a blackberry tarragon latte.
Decent coffee. Big space that is good work working.
Friendly staff, cute vibes, and cool art!
Really good quality coffee & talented batista. These guys really care about quality - if you don't believe me try their traditional Italian cappuccino! IMO best coffee shop in DM
Love the drink specials here. I got a tea latté and a Virgo which is a Cortado with black sesame syrup. My boyfriend got a drip coffee and it tasted pretty watered-down and acidic. If you're looking for flavored coffee, this is the place. If you want straight up espresso or regular coffee, go somewhere else.
You need to stop by and try the coffee here. I had an iced Vanilla Latte with Whipped Cream and it was amazing! Their roast and flavors add a special something that other coffee houses don't have.
Just you basic care not much to touch on was hoping for a more fun outter space atmosphere lol
Asked for a reduced amount of shots- clearly didn’t listen, bouncing off walls! When people ask for this- there is a reason!
other than the creepy workers redundant continual staring at my wife’s figure… was a nice aesthetic coffee shop with a friendly cashier. coffee was pretty mediocre.
The oat milk cappuccino was by far the best I’ve ever had. Friendly and accommodating staff as well!
Good vibes, friendly staff and good coffee. I also ordered the “Rover” for breakfast and it was tasty. Highly recommend this cafe
Mars never disappoints. Best chai, some of my favorite drip coffee, and a vibe I always feel comfortable with!
