I find it very deceptive that this place attempts to trick consumers into a 20% tip by setting it as the default when you pay with credit card. I will not be going here anymore, even though it’s right near my home, because of this practice.

Everything is great, except we've had two of the to-go cups leak from the bottom over the last few months. I hope Burgie's starts providing higher-quality cups.
Cookies need some work but the jamocha shake is amazing!
I love Burgie’s is my go to place weekly! My favorite spot to have a morning date with my husband!
I’ve been to Burgie’s many times and I’m always very pleased with both the food and drinks and I’ve tried many different things from their menu. The atmosphere is inviting, employees are always kind and helpful and I love supporting a local business.

Disappointed, not mad, just disappointed
The experience was legendary. I walked in and instantly wished I was in Starbucks. I paid $7.19 for a drink when I could have paid $6.78 at Starbucks for it. Wouldn’t recommend. My experience was bizarre I had to give it a 1/5 star.
Great coffee place just north of where my In-laws live. Stopped in while out for a morning walk with my wife for a quick coffee. Staff was friendly, the space has a good atmosphere, and the coffee was good. Glad to have this so close. Will visit again the next time we are in town.
Biscuit breakfast sandwich was great and caramel latte was one of the best I've had.
This is my favorite coffee shop in Ames. Highly recommend!
I ordered a hot latte and was handed an iced latte. When I asked for it hot the barista (Kalyn) told me they heard me say iced and they were too busy to remake it. TERRIBLE customer service and I won’t be going back.

I stopped for a milkshake and was recommended a matcha lavender one. So good!!!!! Plus their iced jasmine pearl tea was perfectly brewed.
