Excellent coffee, ice cream and of course, chocolates
Amazing Gelato and the best cup of coffee in Ames. Truly a classy place, plus the chocolate is pretty good too!
Very good coffee, great muffins. Chocolate is the best.
Stopped in on 3/25/23. I found the place to have a very welcoming and quaint atmosphere that was complemented by a friendly and helpful staff. In terms of products, the blueberry gelato I purchased was incredibly flavorful. I will definitely be returning! If you are in the downtown Ames area, I highly recommend stopping in to buy yourself a treat.

The chocolates were smooth with many varieties. The employees were very helpful and the shop is very well decorated. They also have special chocolates for the Valentine's week.
Best Hot Coco ever when its cool! Best Gelato when it's warm! The chocolates are pretty exceptional too.

Wonderful little place on main street Ames. I had the chocolate gelato and it was soooo good. Will be returning to try some other goodies
My husband and I tried 6 different chocolate truffles; some dark, some milk. The truffles were, on average, too sweet, and missed the note we were expecting to taste. The dark chocolate was slightly better in terms of flavor profile. The staff was very amiable.
A very popular brand for a variety of Chocolates. We were at the shop fifteen minutes before opening and yet the lady was obliging to let us on and choose our special chocolates. Good service. The variety of Chocolates tempts you overspend. Though a bit priced , the quality and taste matches it. Cheers
Delicious chocolate and other goodies. Definitely a place to stop at in Ames. Set up to encourage conversation around a cup of coffee or tea with chocolate to top things off.
Went to Denmark and Holland this summer and the chocolate at stam is every bit as good. We are privileged to have them in town.
Best chocolate on the planet! They also serve coffee. There is comfortable seating at a table or couches. So many choices! I make this a destination when I am in Ames.
Favorite chocolate place on EARTH. Piano players, endless homemade chocolate supply and yummy handmade ice cream. They also have hot and cold drinks. Try the Belgium chocolates and Hot coffee!
An extremely nice experience. They have so many options for chocolates and you can make custom boxes of different sizes including gift boxes. They also have a nice collection of gelato available. The ambience of the place is also extremely soothing if you want to sit for a while enjoying your coffee or a gelato. Finally, there's a piano there too! Visited Iowa for little more than a week and already went there twice! Last but not the least, the waitresses are extremely warm and welcoming.
