Extremely hospitable. We were served pork chops and tea. Also there was entertainment. We played fooseball and ping pong with the bros.
I loved the locally roasted coffee. Great conversation with the barista.
Thy didntt giv mi any coffeee so I was a lil disapppointed but chepe thoo
It was the best place ever I’ve been at.
Friendly staff and a great atmosphere! Went with some friends and even made some new ones. So enjoyable, I’d stay all night.
Just broskis, I also heard you can sleep over. Couple dudes shared their experience and it sounded phenomenal. Make sure you shake their upstairs roommate’s hand!
10/10 General Tso's pork for dinner with decaf coffee, good prices and vibes, favorite place in Ames.
Food was excellent. Really friendly staff. Cool place to stop by when you have a chance.
When I arrived they were having some major technical issues with the electricity in the shop but they went out of their way to make sure they could make me a cup of espresso. The service was amazing and had some great philosophical conversations with the owners. They offered to cover the coffee on the house as well. Before I left there were two fellows plays go, a great atmosphere.
Suuuuper hospitable dudes. We played games, watched some YouTube, and then the red-headed one let me crash with him.
Great little hangout spot! Very hard to find parking at times. Other than that, love everything about it. and I don’t even like coffee.
Friendly bros in a home. They made me coffee, it was excellent👌🏼
Really cool coffee shop in the most unexpected of places! Their cinnamon pecan rolls are great
The coffee could have used a little more salt, but it was good for the price. EDIT: Updated to 5 stars; the carbonated chocolate milk was amazing!
Best coffee in town!!!
Religious fundies trying to trick you with coffee. LOL So sad.
I went there and they didn't give any coffee only ping pong matches and sarcasm. Not for the faint of heart, they also have the customer's cleaning for them, even though they did so happily, very sus. Edit: The impending feeling of doom, I felt from my brother made me change to five stars. Keep up the good work!!
Easily my second favorite coffee shop in Ames. Tea selection is disappointing, but service and vibe are absolutely phenomenal. They have a professional espresso machine for high quality lattes and mochas, and a wide variety of syrup flavors. I would highly suggest taking up Gavin on his foosball challenge, I don't know that anyone in the state of Iowa could beat him, you can quote me on this. I also would suggest rounding up your purchase for the bean bag fundraiser, a very worthy cause. The convenience of 24/7 service is convenient for the college student population of Ames. Overall, I would give a 11/10 if I could, but minus -1/2 point for every time Magnus's socks don't match.
Cool baristas. Also enjoy the other guys that are around the cafe. The one guy who came up from the basement is cute.
The hospitality is amazing! Coffee is also pretty great. Honestly the best hidden gem in Ames!
