I came to check this place out after having a good experience at their other location in West Lafayette. Ordered some breakfast and a coffee. Great atmosphere with views of downtown, and a clean establishment overall. The staff were very kind, competent, and handful. A little loud if you’re trying to work, and just a bit on the pricey side. But overall a wonderful local spot :)

Cannot say enough about The Lobby. It is beautiful, clean, and spacious with comfortable seating perfect for studying all day or enjoying a cocktail for date night. Also a very inclusive environment welcoming to all. The staff was pleasant and friendly. Sat at the bar for three hours waiting for my wife to be done with her conference and enjoyed the conversation and my drinks. Once my wife arrived we ordered some food and it was phenomenal. The attention to detail rivaled that of a cocktail lounge in New York, Chicago, or LA. Finally the coffee was rich but smooth. What an asset to Lafayette!!!

The order/payment could be done digitally saving you time to wait in lines. The whole vibe in a restaurant is really pleasant.

First time visiting and we were greeted at the entrance by a nice staff that explained to us how to order. You just sit down at an empty table and use the QR code to order and even pay for your food before leaving. It's pretty convenient. However, it took about 1 hour for the food to come out and the place was very noisy and crowded. The food was good but not outstanding. I do like that they offer non alcoholic cocktails.

Nice and cosy cafe. Martini espresso is nice. Latte art still got room for improvement.

This is a wonderful, welcoming space for all. Every food and beverage item I’ve enjoyed has been delightful. My friends and I have all loved our experiences at The Lobby. My 2 year old enjoys the snickerdoodle donuts. Coffee is amazing as always, and The Leading Lady is my go-to drink for an evening out. I love this new addition to Downtown Lafayette.

I frequent the Lafayette area on my days off (I live by Chicago) and it’s hard to find an aesthetically pleasing and decently priced cafe near the IHG hotel like this one!!! The cleanliness, sophisticated but friendly staff, and delectable taste of my Crème Brûlée iced coffee honestly puts these negative reviews to shame, they don’t know what they’re missing! I don’t know the name of the girl who recommended me the drink but she was very kind and understanding and the guy who made it obviously put incredible care into his craft and both were also very informative! I will always return to this location when I make my trips down here!!

Definitely a great place to stop by for a nice coffee or tea and to have a great donut in the morning. Good atmosphere to chat with someone in mornings and afternoons, but also a great charcuterie board that can be shared for a nice evening chat.

Review update: They do not have signage for the restrooms however they said it will be for families so you can use either restroom just lock the outside door so none else comes in even though there are stalls inside. They have great products and a very inviting space with plenty of room to visit or study.

Disappointed to discover they don’t pay taxes. Nothing to indicate this place as a religious space, not sure how they get away with this but it feels wrong. As a Christian I feel like I can’t support a business that cheats the system this way. Also someone really needs to fix the sulfur smell that consistently wafts across the room.

This business is unethical, they do not pay taxes. I was really excited when I first visited, it smelled like rotten eggs but it was their first day so whatever. It’s a bit expensive for food but I figured that’s ok because it’s tough to keep up a business and this was pretty nice. The second time was ok too, but the place still smells like a toilet. Then I learned the business was filed as a religious space to bring christianism to “unchurched people” and “create a space “for conversations about religion”. This business is supposedly a religious space, therefor they do not pay taxes. This is the same reason I do not go to Greyhouse. It’s not fair for one man to own several businesses in the best locations in both Lafayette and west Lafayette, and not have to pay a dime in taxes simply by claiming the space as religious. There is no iconography, nobody walking around actively talking about christianism, no signs. Just a scam. An unethical business practice to save money and beat out the competition. They even sell alcohol here. Churches get to be tax free, not money making businesses. This seems incredibly unfair to me.
