I worked here from January of this year until today. The only reason I quit the job is because I’m going to be moving! Aside from the food being great, everyone seems to get along really well and for the most part I had a really great experience working here! For anyone looking at the reviews, I would HIGHLY recommend the Reuben sandwich or the Michigan salad. Those were my two favorite dishes there. EVERYTHING is great, though!
Very friendly staff, decent food and decent prices.
This was our first time here and the Cafe is wonderful. The atmosphere was phenomenal, lots of waiting area with couches and chairs, or areas just to drink coffee and relax. The menu was extensive with a variety of choices/coffees/desserts to chose from. And it is prepared by an actual culinary chef rather than just a cook. It was hot, fresh tasting, and even though they were busy our waitress checked on us at least 5 times along with 2 other servers and even the owner stopped by to chat. This is the way a true Cafe should be and it is definitely a place to come! I had chocolate chip pancakes, spouse had apple pie waffle add vanilla ice cream. My daughters had regular waffle with cookies and cream ice cream and one had the burrito. It was amazing! Highly recommend!
Always enjoy coming here! Food is good. Service is great and atmosphere is very nice! Friendly staff! Keep up the great work 👍.
Good food prepared quickly, with large portions and friendly service. Ham and cheese omelette was delicious.
I always have an excellent experience when visiting North End Café 💘
Excellent food and excellent service
After visiting three times, I have finally decided that we will not be visiting anymore. The food is decent tasting, good portion size and reasonably priced. However, during each of our visits we were assigned the same tiny table at the corner end of the cafe where no else can see you. I cannot help but think if its because we are colored people and the cafe owners would prefer that we are not seen by their target clientele. The cafe wasnt even half full during all our visits and we saw plenty of party-of-two occupying well located 4-seater tables. We tried to give benefit of doubt by visiting two more times but were again disappointed today. Needless to say, wont be visiting ever again.
Looked for a cute brunch place as we stopped through Lafayette. This place fit the bill perfectly, we really loved the concept of connected business. The food is your regular diner breakfast food. My corn beef hash was home made, not the mushy kind. The buttermilk pancakes were awesome, they looked like a cake, and tasted delicious. Service was quick, though we did stop in on a weekday, I could see this placed packed on the weekend. If you are close I suggest you stop in.
This is a cute little place attached to a church community building. The staff are unusually chill and patient, like they're not under a lot of pressure, which is nice. We had the Fresh Fruit Plate, which is like a fruit and chicken salad combined with cottage cheese and a muffin. Pretty healthy meal. Then we also had the Meat Lover's Omelette, which was pretty good, but the standout here was the super tasty breakfast potatoes. Prices are very reasonable.
Excellent food. Excellent service. Great atmosphere.
fast friendly and outstanding quality. I ordered the chicken bacon ranch, more than I could eat in a single setting with a perfect blend of flavors. sandwiches come with a choice of sides; my pile of fries put most fast food places to shame. seated served and out the door under ½hour...
What a find! This place is similar to another broken egg with better prices and better breakfast potatoes. My husband and I got pancakes and eggs benny, he loved it but the Canadian bacon was a little too thick for my personal preference- still very good overall though! Also we both took note that the food was so hot when it came out, they’re really on top of getting the food out quickly. Our server Sam was attentive and friendly. The whole vibe here is amazing, the food and price makes it a true gem. Will definitely be back!
Cute & artsy, sometimes hosts live music. Very cheap coffee (lattes & specialty drinks). Nothing else like this on the North End. Great menu with lots of options- highly recommend the sesame salmon ginger salad! Attached to the North End community center so there’s lots to do if you want to other than just eat
First time there. Had a Rueben sandwich and french fries . The meat was tough and fat. They seasoned the French fries with something spicy, why would you do that to a french fry? Just ruined it for me. The waitress wasn't very busy and didn't take our plates away when we were done. Not impressed at all.
They're food is AMAZING!!!! They have the BEST Chefs in town!!!! Everyone there is truly a joy to be around!!!! I highly recommend to EVERYONE!!!!
Some dishes aren't as tasty as others. I ordered the classic breakfast which seemed the safe choice. It's hard to mess up breakfast.
Great food! Great service. Worth it!
They absolutely hands down have the best breakfast food and friendly service! Worst thing about the place...they close at 2 and are closed Mondays! It would be amazing to get dinner here! Maybe someday they'll stay open past 2;)
Great place..great cook
