One if my favorite shops! Thank you
Great house blend coffee with Brie and bacon pastry!
Great tasting hot mocha, but I'm a little disappointed. I feel like I paid $5 but didn't get my money's worth. I ordered this with a little whipped cream on top, but they gave a lot. After I ate the whipped cream, this is what was left of my drink. I guess next time I'll forgo the whipped cream. I said extra hot, but it isn't.
Thoughtful coffee, best Pastry program in Fort Wayne it's not even a contest. Come on weekends to get extra special offerings. Also a brunch menu most days.
Decent iced coffee. One of the worst lattes I've ever had, though.
Delicious coffee. Fairly priced and there’s a lot of table you can use if you’re doing some work.
Very cool. Great art in the wall and there is a meeting room people can reserve. Busy parking is the paid garage across the street. It very chill. Room for 20-30 people. They have a bar area by the windows but they don't serve alcohol so it's collective space that you talk to friends to read a book. Multiple outlets in the dining area. High ceiling and wood floors gives an sophisticated and studious vibe
It was pretty quiet at midday on a Monday. Very low rock music in the background - good working environment. Breakfast available until 2. Also macarons and standard pastries. One reservable private room and plenty of tables. Good coffee, good food, good space.
It's a nice quiet place with an industrial feel. Prices were a little high for the small sizes of their cups. Not a lot of choices for drinks.
So, the food and drinks are great. I have been in three times, and I can’t describe it any other way than to say it was uncomfortable. The staff are unwelcoming and cold. This is not the the type of vibe I’m looking for when I’m choosing a coffee shop. This is a disappointment, because I love to support local businesses. I felt as though I was imposing on the person behind the counter with each visit. People can have bad days, that’s fair. But after three visits and the same experience, I left questioning if I had done something offensive because of how I was treated. I tip well, I am very friendly…so I can’t quite figure out how it’s that hard to be kind to a friendly customer that is buying a coffee. Just be kind. You can easily make or break someone’s day by how you treat them. Use that opportunity to spread a little joy in the world .
My brother was in town and we had lunch. We were trying to figure out what to do. We all decided we like some coffee. We looked up coffee house fortezza was in walking distance. We had three kids with us all teenagers. My nephew wasn't sure what kinda coffee he liked. After talking to the guy he figured out something he would like to try. He was very helpful and very patient with us. It was delicious and so beautiful I almost didn't want to drink it. Instead I took a picture and let my heart soar. I would order 2nd one but was getting to late to have more caffeine. We sat down talked about our plans we was there for long time they employees didn't mind us taking up space. If your in the downtown Fort Wayne I suggest trying it.
This establishment was pretty good, however their customer service is becoming poor. Recently we were turned away at the door before closing time. Also not a fan of political coffeehouses either, just be good people! Anytime I visit, I have to go out of my usual way. A few incidents recently however make me not want to go out of my way to have their coffee.
Everything is a 5/5. Coffee, service, vibe, location, and baked goods. This will be a must have when I’m back in Fort Wayne!
Good food and coffee. No street parking.
Good stuff and nice bakery but the coffee is pretty pricey 🥯
Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The coffee is so-so.
Nice place, good coffee, okay service. I will admit I had expected something a little more welcoming, but it seems to be focused on the regulars and friends of the baristas, which I can understand, but it has the vibe and look of a place I would find in Portland, but without the awesome staff to follow through with that vibe.
Fantastic Café Latte and Chai Latte! Thanks!
Food, atmosphere and employees 10/10.
We lived in Fort Wayne years ago and get to visit about once a year for my partners work. This most recent trip we were staying downtown, and our first morning we decided to swing in and get coffee from our old favorite Fortezza - ended up staying for breakfast. We came back EVERY day. The staff is so kind, the coffee was delicious, and the food was stellar. I’m currently dairy free for my CMPA baby, and they had no issue making the sweet potato hash (with egg, zucchini and chorizo of course) with olive oil instead of butter. The matcha latte with oat milk was perfect, our coffee was wonderful as well. We brought home some beans that they sold and we’ve been enjoying those now that we are back home.
