First time I went here. I don’t have much to compare or expect, but I didn’t have any issues or confusions. Everything was laid out perfectly. When one member didn’t fill in the form, they reminded us and checked in nicely. The white mocha coffee was very good.
If you love cats and I hope you do the Black Forest Cafe is where you've got to come to check out the most cutest adoptable kitties in Fort Wayne have a cup of coffee and play with kitty cats the only way to go $10 an hour $7 every half hour after that not bad so come check out the kitties
I'm so glad that this is in town and to see how successful they've been so far. Every time I've gone, the cats genuinely seem so stress-free - even if they've only been there for a day. It's rare to see a handful of cats seemingly getting along and being immediately friendly to people -- especially strays. I can tell the staff and environment makes them very comfortable.
Atmosphere was amazing, employees were sweet and the food was good albeit it was a bit pricy. The main issue was that a majority of the cats were sleeping by the time we got there. There were really only 2 or 3 awake which was disappointing but nothing that anyone could really do about it.
My second time visiting the Cafe, and it's been about 5 months and when greeted upon entering we had a really warm welcome from the team working and one of them remembered me from the previous time, amd that was a really nice connection! We visited the cats and got some drinks. The brown sugar cold brew was delicious! Really great experience and love the enviroment and the whole thing going on there!
This place is an absolute dream! They have good drinks and really friendly staff. This place really reminds me of animal cafes in Korea. There’s no guarantee that the cats will be super active during your scheduled time, but they’re still really cute to watch. I’ll come back soon for more kitty love🥰
I would highly recommend Black Forest Cat Cafe. My daughter and I visited for her birthday. We each got a drink and she got a cupcake (all delicious). The cat visiting room was clean, smelled nice, and very cute! We enjoyed our visit!

A wonderful way to introduce our little girl to cats - learning how to love and respect them. Great experience- we will be back. I would just say $10.00 seemed a bit pricey for a three year old, but place was spotless and inviting so I would say that accounted for the cost. Thanks
They have plenty of coffee and tea options to choose from. They also have pastries too. Of course the main highlight is the kitties hanging out in their room. We didn’t know you have to reserve time to hangout with the babies. Next time we go there we’ll be prepared. The cats are available for adoption and over 240+ kitties have found a furever home. What an amazing place!
A great place to visit, even if you aren’t looking to adopt at this time. The staff are friendly, the snacks are tasty, and it is fun to hang out with the very chill cats in the room.
I love cats and coffee, so this was the purr-fect place to love on some cats and enjoy a coffee. The cats were hiding in different places so it was fun trying to find their hiding spots. Be warned...you may end up adopting!
My daughter and I had a great time playing with the cats! All the cats were very friendly, and we were confident they were happy and well taken care of. As a bonus, the coffee was delicious!
This is such a cute little coffee shop. In full transparency, I am not a coffee shop/bakery connoisseur. But the service was helpful and cheerful. The chocolate chip cookie and cupcake were actually quite scrumptious. And, of course, what the café is known for -- helping animals find forever homes is heartwarming. Unfortunately, I can't speak to the background check process to ensure the cats are being placed in good homes, but I trust they're doing their due diligence. It would be wonderful if more for-profit businesses incorporated these kinds of services to the community.
My son and I visited and loved it. Even put in an adoption request for one. Fingers crossed! Sad there were only 6 to play with but very happy that there was 6 because that meant the others found their forever homes!
Great place and atmosphere. The animals are well cared for and are regularly adopted out so it's rare to see the same cat twice.
Such a well thought out concept. Our family enjoyed spending time with the cats, and everything from the cafe was delicious! The price point at the cafe is more than reasonable. The staff is super friendly
It's just so fun here! The cat room is clean and doesn't smell bad at all! The prices are very reasonable and everyone is very friendly. We love it here!
