It's great when they are at the farmers market. Good quick service and tasty food
This place is really amazing, for both savory and desert food. I cant find enough words to recommend this place, So I'll probably have to invent some. Please do yourself a favor a go!!
Chimney Cakes is a go-to spot for us whether at the YLNI market on Saturdays or the cafe on Main Street. Great atmosphere in the shop, incredibly genuine and friendly owners, and it's family friendly (our kiddos especially love the complimentary coloring supplies and games to keep them entertained if they're not already engrossed in watching the Chimney Cakes being handmade right at the front counter). We especially recommend the Italian savory chimney and the paninis, though everything they make is fantastic. Definitely a must try!
Absolutely Amazing! The people were so nice and our cakes were SOOO good! Soon to become a regular spot for us!
Wonderful place and incredibly friendly people. I have been twice and will continue to come back again and again! Today I took my mom for an early Mother’s Day treat. I ordered the classic, cinnamon and cookies and cream. The owner was so sweet and made my mom a special Mother’s Day chimney cake since she is from out of town and couldn’t make it to their Mother’s Day event coming up. It made her day!! The filled chimney cake she gave her was sour chocolate cherry and was amazing!! My mom let me try some and I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves chocolate. The chocolate Bavarian cream inside was so yummy and the cherries were really unique and flavorful. They really went out of their way to do something like that and it was so thoughtful and touching. Thank you!!
Such a cute little place. The smell of the warm, sugary dough hits you as soon as you walk in the door. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The chimney cakes are delicious and the Raspberry and Bavarian cream filled is sinfully decadent. The cappuccino was very good as well. We drove 2 hours on a recommendation and it was worth it.
My first time to visit this place, great service, delicious desserts, small cozy place. I will definitely be back again
What an amazing bakery and cafe!!! Timea Csibi is the owner and if you haven't met her or tried her Chimney Cakes you are missing out! The cafe is a quaint little shop, beautifully decorated, and smells heavenly of the fresh baked Chimney Cakes made to order. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly as well. This is definitely what I call a "hidden gem" that everyone needs to experience. Highly recommend and already can't wait to go back!
They are awesome a little pricey but worth it
We learned about chimney cakes last year at the Christmas market in Carmel, IN. We loved what we had and found out that the vendor was located in Fort Wayne. When you walk in, the bakery gives off a cute coffee shop vibe. The cakes are made to order and come out nice and hot. We had the 5 Cheese, Italian, and Raspberry chimney cakes and ate the 5 Cheese before we could take a picture, it looked and tasted that good! A side of tomato sauce was the perfect addition for the savory cakes. The raspberry cake has a wonderful raspberry flavor without being too sweet. My partner also enjoyed a chili chocolate cappuccino with our meal and it had a pleasant spice and good balance. We can't wait for another opportunity to have chimney cakes and try all the other flavors.
Definitely an item for the list of Fort Wayne hidden treasures. The cakes are remarkably filling - consider splitting them, or if you're visiting alone, be ready to take part of it to go.
Really enjoyed our Bavarian cream filled dessert. It was full of different ingredients I wasn't expecting. I'm hoping they continue to build on the concept of putting different flavors and toppings inside. If you can find a way to do soft served ice cream at the farmer's market please do!
Authentic Hungarian körtös kalács brought me back to the market in Budapest. Amazing and so yummy!
Fabulous, friendly, fun!! Love this place. 😊
Great coffee! Great sweet, and savory 'Cakes'! AND great staff! Absolutely will be back!
Super cute spot, baked fresh in front of you!
A romantic and cozy atmosphere with unique pastries and rotating menu! The panini's were excellent. 👌
Like the new shop. Enjoyed my expresso and Italian Chimney cake. Will be back for a sweet one next time. Thank you.
More than food! It’s an experience. A taste of Hungarian/Transylvanian festival food in the Fort! Family owned business, great place to chill. Espresso is the bomb! Support local businesses!! Tell them Daniel from HMN sent you!
Fantastic local place! Loved the cinnamon chimney cake! Definitely a must try!
