Java House Midtown (5/20 @2:30) was spectacular! What a cute cafe, and I loved the bar you can sit at! The baristas were all so friendly and were having fun with each other as they made the drinks. The Tedster was so yummmmmmy straight off the menu w whipped delicious on top!!! Go and be amazed! Heaven in a cup!

Great coffee, good price. would want cheaper refills on regular coffee. Good interior design and very friendly staff.

Always have enthusiastic young folks working in there, But more times than not my drink just isn't quite right. Albeit I am from the older generation. Their sandwiches are good (better than others). However, they picture an 'everything bagel' with bacon and egg on it and they do not serve any such sandwich. They only offer a plain bagel. The food is premade. Great environment to have a conversation!

The food there is okay but normally me and my friends just go there to hang out there's not much there to do

I'm a cold brew fanatic and Java House has really surprised me with its commitment to great cold brew coffee. In spite of being a chain, the quality is there! Of course, the price definitely reflects it! This particular one has plenty of space and is right near the outdoor courtyard space with lots of beautiful seating. Perfect for a warm day!

Great place to grab a coffee or a coffee drink. Also good if you wanted to do some work on your laptop in between meetings. It's a little loud but not too bad. And overall decent place to grab a copy and meet some friends or colleagues

Very disappointing. I tried to give this shop quite a few chances since it is so close to my work but the same issues happened repeatedly. The coffee isn't great for starters; or at least is woefully inconsistent. Tastes stale most of the time and even burnt at others, regardless of the variety chosen. The baristas, though usually very kind, always seemed to be scrambling and either unprepared for the volume of customers or simply the complexity of some of the orders. I often sit around the bar and have often seen cold drinks be made hot or vice versa, or just general confusion about some of the orders being taken. I actually don't think most of that is down to individual error but rather just poor training. There also rarely seems to be anyone of any managerial rank or authority in the shop and it is often teenagers and young adults seemingly fending for themselves. The shop was also dirty and cluttered fairly often. Overall just very disappointing as I have always felt that this coffee shop had potential, just poor execution.

No coconut milk and cashier doesn’t know what they sell. When I ask to have chocolate they bring protein bar. Don’t recommend 👎

If you’re into the cold brews, this is the place for you. All the drinks I’ve had here have been good, but I am an espresso fiend. It also doesn’t give me coffee house vibes though, it’s got its own sort of atmosphere.

Some of the best coffee I've had! Such a good flavor and very smooth. Wish it was closer to home.

Java House in downtown Carmel is an upscale coffee bar with rich interior decor and fancy cold brew coffee offerings. The ambiance feels like an old school bar with warm wood finishing and updated industrial finishing. The coffee is all 'cold brewed' for best flavor. I had a basic black cold 'cold brew' and it was perfect. Dark smooth flavor, not as bitter and strong as Starbucks, but still with a rich and bold flavor. The ambiance and service is the downside, I visited on a Wednesday morning just after 8 am. While the location is beautiful and can be relatively easily accessed with parking via the parking garage attached or street parking, it was busy! FULL of yuppie 'Carmelites' on their early morning business power meetings, and 'Carmel yoga Mom's' meeting up for their coffee dates. Their was also surprisingly (maybe not so surprisingly) a possibly homeless person hanging out at a table eating leftover fries from what appeared to be a takeout order from the previous evening...a sign that homelessness is and will be a new and upcoming issue for downtown Carmel in the future. There only seemed to be two workers, one taking orders and one barista... so service seemed a bit slow. The workers seemed a bit overwhelmed and slightly unpleasant. I don't criticize them as the place seemed understaffed or perhaps mismanaged, a common situation at this period in time where all service industries seem to be struggling to adequately staff. Finally, it is a super noisy environment. Tall open ceilings, industrial finishes, busy meetings etc. all lead to an echoey and loud setting. I honestly would prefer a Starbucks, as one can usually find a secluded spot, or move around more freely. The coffee is good. I will give this place a try again, just not at coffee house rush hour at 8 am in Carmel.

Hip and trendy with a industrial vibe balanced by warm woods, its a great place to surf the net or meet with friends. The summer drink collection adds a fun twist to the menu and you can't go wrong with a regular coffee, hot or cold.

Always out of stuff, not particularly friendly, not particularly fast. Coffee is good. Convenient location, but otherwise: meh...

I love this Midtown location! It sits right off the Monon and I love to grab a drink mid walk with my doggo using their walk up window! I love a cold brew with salted caramel cold foam and of course my pup loves a pup cup! The food is also really good. I love the breakfast sandwiches and parfaits. The place is always super busy and I love how friendly the staff is!
