They forgot about my latte, & I bought four goods (chai walnut, peanut butter brownie, & two zucchini breads) - everything had a BAD & weird taste. It was all absolutely awful, the baked goods & coffee was stale & weird flavor. The (presumably) stoned employees weren’t even apologetic when they realized they had forgotten about my drink. My friend (who had ordered after me) got her latte before me & I stood around waiting for mine & I ended up having to request mine which they stood around saying “uhhhhhh” about for way too long & they were pretentious & unapologetic when they realized they had forgotten about me. Yes I tipped them, in cash. Do better Bloomington. I don’t often leave reviews but I am APPALLED.

Nice little coffee shop. I like their smoothies, particularly.

Pretty cool coffee ☕️ house 🏠 . Their Barista's are pretty talented in making art in your coffee .

Nice, cute, warm energy. Just do not get matcha, tastes like water, and you'll be good. Every other drink I've tried has been fabulous.

I’d say this is the best place in town to study. Nice little hole in the wall that feels like it’s underground. The staff is always great, they have some of the best speciality coffees in town; they don’t just copy and paste what Starbucks has. What I really enjoy is that they have two rooms— the front is where you come in and just talk, drink some coffee and leave, while the slightly bigger back room is usually a bit quieter and is always filled with people studying. There isn’t a sign saying so, it’s like an assumed unspoken rule. If you’re into records, there’s actually a hidden store in the very back— TDs CDs and LPs which is a good size selection of, well, what they say! One thing though, this isn’t to be confused with the other locations, this one’s the one to visit—the other two are completely different. While they have the same drinks, the vibe is much closer to Starbucks, having just one big room, louder, and the Jordan Square one even limits your wifi use. It’s a great experience, you just have to come see for yourself.

I've had coffee at many different places, but I must say that the coffee at Soma Coffeehouse was the very best I have ever had!!! Not only was the atmosphere funky and fun, but the baristas were extremely talented and knowledgeable about coffee.

I went here to be a cool, alternative emo loner, but every time I walk out I have more friends than I walked in with

Brownies are not good 😩 Texture-wise it is more a chocolate cake than a brownie and on top of that it was very salty for some reason.

Juice bar and coffee, tea, pastries. Don't ever go to loser coffee shops run by Starbucks

Soma is such a cute little place to do some homework or catch up with friends. Oahu is my favorite coffee drink there plus the smoothies are awesome!

This place has that ‘gather around friends and chat’ vibe and a cozy feeling to it! The people at work were really warm and nice too! A thing to try, “Top of The Mornin’” hot coffee!! One of the best coffee that I’ve ever tasted, and this comes from a coffee lover!! ☕️

Fantastic gem of Bloomington. Friendly, interesting, creative, easy. Great cup of coffee too. I ordered dark chocolate with a double shot and it was the best coffee I’ve had in Indiana

This cafe is inside an old house so having a coffee there it is a very "Bloomington" experience. The staff is pretty nice and the beverages were prepared quickly and were pretty good, especially the lattes. Their selection of muffins and other breads is not large but what they have is tasty 😋. There are other Soma Cafes in Bloomington but this one will provide you with the best atmosphere.

One of my old favorite coffee places in Bloomington. The coffee is great, the people are great, and the atmosphere is often nice even though it can get very crowded very quickly. I'm not a huge fan of supporting Soma due to some issues they've had behind the scenes, however.
